That is a point of view of some people. When European countries combined their currencies, and adopted Euro as their common currency it became a match for US Dollar. If European countries were to combine their defence production, it would produce a super power. But that is a big question mark as some countries like UK are too proud to fully integrate into Europe.

Or for that matter the entire European continent, who simply cannot unite to respect each other's diversity. The general European tendency of "my language/culture/religion/customs/traditions are higher/better/superior to yours" will not let them ever integrate.

The same way as US found Cuban missile crisis offensive.

The same way you would find a Russian attack fleet in Bulgaria (hypothetical situation) when you know that you have issues with them.

The same way we found PLAN's nuke subs in SL a threat to our security.

You put a missile shield near Russia's borders and then you don't expect it to retaliate?

Ask yourself this; Will USA find it comfortable for S-500s to be placed in Mexico?

Ask yourself this; Will USA find it comfortable for S-500s to be placed in Mexico?

1.Deploying nuclear weapons is an offensive move,not the same as a shield.
2.The S 500 doesn't even exist so you're speculating here the same as you're speculating about Mexico deployement as Mexico isn't a Russian military ally..
3.It's not Russia's porch,they are independent countries who can deploy whatever they want ,just as like India is working towards an ABM shield for herself,just as Russia has systems which it claims can intercept nuclear missiles.Everyone has the right to defensive measures.
