it doesn't apply to boxing usually, but in general combat.Sooooooooo
The Indian boxer is not really hitting below the belt...he is trying to attack when his defense should have been up,he doesn't know what has happened to him and his arms have gone down in reaction to being hit. The indian is using the reach of his kick to outmatch the reach of arm, but the reach of arm becomes longer when the back is bent. That sob is kicking below the belt. What a shame.
racistLove it. Took that Ganghoo down bad style ....

Awesome analysisit doesn't apply to boxing usually, but in general combat.
Indians should have realized that their boxer is going to match a boxer who is a commando in police force so would have more techniques, more skill, more training and faster thinking process than an average boxer.

Secondly, the Indian is using leg kicks to create distance from Pakistani, do you see Pakistani using kicks? No.
Thirdly, Indian went on defensive before going down, SF are taught during sparring, the most common fighting technique: attack-defense, attack-defense..back to back....this is not cricket where you have to play allotted overs, this is combat, bringing down opponent within seconds or minutes. You don't go full defense.
Fourthly, did you see Indian tried to box Pakistani into a corner, but Pakistani swirled out of it and went into center of ring, but when he cornered the indian into a box, the indian couldnt get out, and got knocked out
In self defense, its always taught to keep hands up, saving face, head and neck and in Special forces training, its important to bring down a rival within seconds/minutes of combat either through bullet or hand to hand combat. so what did the commando do ? He did as he was trained, attacking vulnerable face all the time, and kept on attacking till he brought down the opponent.
