China dont share the border wt Thailand, so its Ok for Thai to curse China day and night. VN troops r stationing in Laos-Camb now, making VN unhappy will lead to war again like in 1979.

So, smart guys like Major General Surasit Thanadtang chose to support VN against China , thats it.
