TF-X Turkish Fighter & Trainer Aircraft Projects

Would such an engine not be feasible for TX (Trainer), AFAIK Freedom Jet was also being developed around a commercial engine.

Rollsroyce and SSM will come to a decision on engine for TF-X by July 31st.

The dimensions don't seem suitable for a trainer either. Its fan is twice the diameter of the Williams FJ44-4M's fan which was going to power the Freedom trainer.

Freedom jet was a dual engined trainer, from lattest we've seen from TX, it will be a single engined trainer requiring double the thrust thus a larger single engine...

SSM points 2023 for TF-X. But Temel KOTİL said first flight will be in 2026.
I guess it will be show flight in 2023. No avionics just skeleton.

Also we have an unmanned fighter jet program which is quite amazing. It says it will be for air to air missions. For AA missions you need fast ,high maneuver capable jet.We have really high standarts.

There is a problem with RR and TRmotor .
it's said that at BBC

Can turkey produce jet engine with TEI and RR cooparation.
Erdoğans goons are pushing to get the deal for the co development to his buddy at bmc and the British don't like it because of the Qatari involvement.

Corruption fucking over the Turkish people once again.

Do you have a source for any of your claims?

Erdogan cancelled the TFX project with TAI and give the contract to BMC.
Live speech on TV, also in Germany available! Damn.

Pardon ... BMC is what??

BMC is a lucrative Turkish company that was once seized from an business men and then sold for cheap to a pro Erdogan business men and has has since then miraculously received the Altay tank project and now has set up a BMC power company with no prior experience whatsoever and is now going to receive the TF-X engine project if it was up to Erodgans wishes.
