ISLAMABAD: Islamabad police arrested five suspected terrorists, foiling a possible terror attack was arrested from a house in a commercial area near Aabpara Islamabad on Friday.
Suicide jackets, hand grenades, pistols, ammunition and foreign currency were recovered from their possession following the raid on the house in sector G-6.
The raid on the house took place following indication from their accomplice who had been earlier arrested from a hotel in Islamabad, Express 24/7 correspondent Masroor Hausen reported.
The house belongs to Sardar Ali Khattak, who is in Malakand currently. On further investigation, it was revealed that Khattak had gone to Malakand to fetch more suicide jackets.
According to the police, the terrorists planned to attack a known mosque in Islamabad.
The city is on red alert and police officials say more raids are scheduled to be conducted across the city on further tip-offs.
Interrogation reveled that one of the accomplices was a peon in the Ministry of Finance and had been on leave for the past two years

Great work by intelligence agencies. This is second terrorist plan that is busted in a month. I hope they can show such performance in other parts of Pakistan also. Hopefully "independent" judiciary won't release him.
