Terrorism in Gojra

I am a Muslim and am proud of it. But what happened in Gojra makes me sick and brings rage to my mind. Few evil so called Muslims committed a crime which is punishable by a punishment which should be harsher then death..
According to reports things started getting dirty after the rumor that Christians threw pages of holy Qur’an in a Mahandi ceremony on bride and groom. Few so called religious fanatics took this incident to prove their love to Qur’an and started attacking Christian village. 45 houses were burned in a day. More then 6 people were killed.
Curse on those who did and participated in this crime against Humanity and Islam. All the civil servants did nothing to control and after the things got out of hands government called rangers to control.

President and Prime minister along with Punjab high court took notice and ordered inquiry.
According to my information… Sunni Tehrik tried to make it Issue. And when one of my friends who is a reporter asked the man who was very vocal and who instigated people about evidence he replied that he lived near to Christian village and he too heard it and never saw the act of throwing pages of Qur’an.

I have many Christian friends and frankly they are the best people I know. I remember the saying of second caliph Hazarat Omer who praised that Christians have 4 qualities
1. They full fill promises
2. They are brave and take stand for truth
3. They are not liars
4. They are honorable

I have always found this observation truth. We Muslims have turned in to unique creatures. We call our selves Muslims but infect we care not to even follow a single teaching of Islam. Frustrated, ignorant and emotionalism is at present sign of a so called good Muslim. I am surprised that it was a Christian historian who first time observed

“Actual Islam is yet to be discovered”

Now people are saying it is work of TTP which tried to divert the attention, other say India is behind it because such kind of incidents only happens in India….
I say who ever instigated is criminal but those who came under influence are also worst criminals. In Pakistan on personal basis people exploit Name of Islam. In 98 % cases Muslim party escapes its obligations by accusing non Muslim party of either TOUHEEN e RISALAT or QURAN.
I think I am a good Muslim and few people love Prophet and His Ahlebait like me. I believe government should make example of such people who defame Islam, Prophet and Quran by wrongly accusing minorities. ISLAMTVA should be violently discouraged because our minorities especially the Christians are more loyal to state than so called Mullahs and Islamists.
Those 6 killed were the most precious people of Pakistan. Government should ensure no one escape justice. Its now duty of Chief Justice to ensure the justice because he was brought back by public only to bring justice

موقع پر موجود لوگون کے مطابق ان حملون کو چند نقاب پوش لیڈ کر رہے تھے ۔۔۔حملہ آور پٹرول اور ایسڈ بمون سے گھرون کو جلا رہے تھے۔۔۔صوبائی انتظامیہ کے مطابق اس کاروائی کا مرکزی کردار قاری نور احمد، قاری عثمان مولوی نثار وغیرا سپاہ صحابہ سے تعلق رکھتےہیں۔۔۔جن کا نام ایف ائی آر میں بھی درج ہے۔۔ جس کی وجہ سے خدشہ ظاہر کیا جا رہا ہے کہ ان حملون کو پلان کر کے ایگسیکیوٹ کیا گیا۔۔
دوسری طرف اس معاملے میں ایک بار پھر صوبائی اور وفاقی حکومت کے اختلافات گھل کر سا منے آئے ہیں۔۔۔حملہ آورون میں ایف آئی آر کے مطابق سٹی صدرمسلم لیگ نون قدیر اعوان بھی شامل تھے۔۔۔جنھیں پچانے کے لئے۔۔۔مقدمہ درج کرنے میں دیر ہوئی۔۔۔

Very Sad..But now a days in these kind of situations , in which Pakistan has a good record to care the the nonmuslims , we cant reject the foren hand..This is jus my Opinion...

Alqaeda/taliban/sipah shabah/laskar jhangvi/jundullah.... are involved in terrorism against all religions humanity in the world but Muslims are still confused about to condemned them.
unfortunately Islamic world is not realizing this fitna and not paMying the attention about their belief and warlords.
Evil clerics are playing major role in promoting this fitna and Muslim are paying for their ignorance

I have said this in another similar thread but I thought I could paste it here as well

its makes me wanna hit those fire heads who dont know a quark of their own religion (Islam) and go about the land enforcing the divine law . The end result of all this melodramatica ultima is always "A BAD BAD NAME FOR ISLAM" . When true Islam, the Islam of The One True God says this:

Sura Al-Hajj(22) Verse No. 40 :

"If it were not for GOD's supporting of some people against others, monasteries, churches, synagogues, and masajid - where the name of GOD is commemorated frequently - would have been destroyed."

Sura 5 Verse 82:

"And nearest among them (Non-Muslims) in love to the believers wilt thou find those who say, "We are Christians": because amongst these are men devoted to learning and men who have renounced the world, and they are not arrogant."

One last advice for my "the Do It Yourself Muslim Brothers" out there:

The Prophet (PBUH) said (I'm using my own form here) "Make certain whenever you hear a news, whether its genuine and then and only then act"

So, before you pass the FINAL JUDGMENT on our poor Christian brothers PALEEZE follow the way of the best man ever (PBUH).

As the government moved on Sunday to register cases against 800 people involved in killing 7 Christians in Gojra, sources in Gojra have revealed that the killers came from outside the city, from Jhang, the hometown of Sipah Sahaba. According to them, the government had received information that “a group of armed men with masked faces had come from Jhang to lead the violence against Christians on the pretext of desecration of the Holy Quran”.

The outsiders first made provocative speeches to arouse the Muslim community against the local Christian community before setting fire to the houses of the Christians while they were still inside. Improvised bombs of the sort stocked by jihadi organisations were used and one was actually shown in a photograph printed by a national daily. The mischief was started by a “maulvi” who arrived in the targeted Gojra village six months ago. There is no “external hand” here, as announced by an official in Lahore.

Christians and Muslims of the village are mostly brick-kiln workers living peacefully, but for the three mosques in the village where the outsiders set up their group. Maulvi Imran Aslam and his two followers first alleged that Christians had torn up the Quran and thrown it up in the air during a wedding. Then, instead of taking the matter to the police, they went on the loudspeakers and asked the Muslims to attack and kill “all the Christians”.

The Gojra case follows on the heels of a similar recent case in Kasur near Lahore. But the Punjab administration, which should have known better, remained sleeping. The Gojra police simply hoped the trouble would blow over with a few Christians hurt and Muslim passions satisfied, but it did not happen. Christians have been killed according to plans made by Al Qaeda and its followers, as witnessed in the churches of Islamabad, Murree and Bahawalpur. The pattern of violence resembles the one witnessed in Shantinagar in 1997 and Sangla Hill in 2005.

The federal and provincial governments must remain steadfast in their resolve to punish the culprits and compensate the dirt-poor Christians of Gojra. Last time, in Shantinagar and Sangla Hill, the help they finally extended to the victims was neither enough nor well organised

آج وزیر اعلٰی پنجاب میان شہباز شریف اور گورنر پنجاب سلمان تاثیر نے گوجرہ کا دورا کیا۔۔ وزیر اعلٰی پنجاب نے متاثرین کو انصاف پہنچانے کا وعدا کیا ۔۔۔جبکہ گورنر پنجاب نے فسادات کی زمہ داری حکومت پنجاب پر ڈالتے ہوئے کہا۔۔۔کہ اگر صوبائی حکومت بروقت کاروائی کرتی تو اتنا نقصان نہ ہوتا۔۔۔ بد قسمتی سے اس واقعہ کو بنیاد بناتے ہوئے بہت سے حلقے سیاسی سکور سیٹل کررہے ہیں۔۔۔ شاید یہی ہماری سیاست ہے۔۔۔جس میں عوام کی کسی کو فکر نہیں۔۔۔

گوجرہ فسادات کو ملکی تاریخ کا بد ترین فساد کہا جا رہا ہے۔۔۔ حالات تو معمول پر آ رہے ہیں۔۔۔ مگر یہ ایسا واقعہ ہے جسے آسانی سے نہیں بھلایا جا سکتا۔۔۔ ۔۔ عوام آج حکمرانون سے پوچھ رہی ہے۔۔۔کہ



یہ واقعہ کیون ہوا؟

کیوں انتظامیہ اور صوبائی حکومت جمعرات کے روز کوڑیاں گاوں میں پینتالیس گھرون کے جلنے کے بعد بھی معاملے کی نزاکت نہ سمجھ سکی؟

تحقیات کس طرف جا رہی ہیں ۔۔۔ کیا کاغذی کاروائی کے بعد معملات سرد خانے میں ڈال دئے جائیں گے۔۔۔ یا حکومت اپنی غلطی مانتے ہوئے مجرمون کو کیفر کردار تک پہنچائے گی۔۔۔

اور حکومت آئیندا ایسے واقعات کو روکنے کے لئے کیا کر رہی ہے

اسلامی جمہوریہ پاکستان میں اقلیتون کو برابر کے حقوق حاصل ہیں۔۔۔آئین پاکستان تمام مذاہب کے ماننے والون کو مکمل مذہبی آزادی اور عزت جان اور مال کے تحفظ کی گارنٹی دیتا ہے۔۔

گوجرہ ضلع ٹوبہ ٹیک سنگھ کی ایک اہم تحصیل ہے۔۔۔ جس کی سرحدیں فیصل آباد، ساہیوال ، خانیوال اور جھنگ سے لگتی ہیں۔۔۔تحصیل گوجرہ میں عیسائی اور مسلمان کئی سالون سے بھائی بھائی بن کر رہ رہے تھے۔۔۔ اور اس کی تاریخ میں کبھی اس طرز کا واقعہ پیش نہیں آیا تھا۔۔۔

بدھ کی رات کو مقامی امام مسجد مولوی عمران اسلم اور اس کے دو حامیوں نے یہ افواہ پھیلانی شروع کی کہ عیسائیوں نے مہندی کی تقریب میں دلہا اور دلہن پر قرانی اوراق نچھاور کئے ہیں۔۔۔یہ افواہ پورے علاقے میں جنگل کی آگ کی طرح پھیل گئی۔۔۔

جمعرات کے روز سنی تحریک نے اس واقعہ کے خلاف ایک ریلی نکالی۔۔۔ اس ریلی کے کور میں بعض شر پسند جلوس سے علیحدا ہو کر کوریان گائون میں داخل ہو گئے اور عیسائیون کے پینتالیس گھر جلا دیئے۔۔۔

معاملات ابتر ہوتے جا رہے تھے۔۔ وفاقی حکومت کے مطابق پنجاب حکومت معاملات سمبھالنے کے لئے وہ کچ نہیں کیا جتنا اسے کرنا چاہئے تھا۔۔۔جس کی وجہ سے حالات مزید بگر گئے۔۔۔

جمعہ کے روز پھر ریلیان نکالی گئیں اور حالات مزید کشیدا ہوتے گئے۔۔۔ ڈی سی آو اور ڈی پی او دونون صوبائی حکومت کو ری انفورسمنٹ بھجوانے کا کہتے رہے۔۔۔مگر کچھ نہ ہوا ۔۔۔پھر ہفتے کے روز حکومت پنجاب نے دوست محمد کھوسہ اور کامران مائیکل کو مزاکرات کے لئے بھیجا۔۔۔ وہ پولیس جو حالات کنٹرول کرنے کے لئے پہلے ہی کم تعداد میں تھی ۔۔ ان وی وی ائی پیز کی حفاظت کرنے کے لئے اپنی ڈیوٹیان چھورنی پریں۔۔۔ جس کا فائیدا اٹھاتے ہوئے شر پسندون نے کرسچین کالونی گوجراہ پر حملہ کر دیا۔۔۔جس کے نتیجے میں سات معصوم افراد ہلاک ہو گئے۔۔۔

اب جب ہلاقتین ہو چکی ہیں۔۔۔ اور رخم بھی ہرے ہیں۔۔۔ حکومت اپنی غفلت چھپانے اور اپوزیشن پوائینٹس سکور کرنے میں جت گئی ہے۔۔۔ ابتدائی تحقیقات کے مطابق اس تمام فساد کے پیچھے ۔۔۔وہ عناصر ہیں جو مالاکنڈ اور وزیرستان میں انولوو ہیں۔۔۔ اس سے کیا یہ سمجھا جائے کے اصل لوگ سامنے نہیں آئین گے۔۔۔بلکہ یہ تحقیقات بھی صرف کاغذی کاروائی بن کر رہ جائیں گی۔۔۔

The frenzied mob that hit a Christian settlement near Gojra on two consecutive days last week proves how easy it is to lose all sense of reason. Masked young men, egged on by religious leaders and actively supported by locals angry over the alleged desecration of the Holy Quran by some members of the Christian community, performed a veritable dance of death in the neighbourhood. They torched houses, smashed businesses and brought routine life to a screeching halt through their seemingly unstoppable violence — until seven Christians were burnt alive and the Rangers called in. On both days the entire area around the targeted settlement was the site of arson, interspersed with stone-throwing, baton-wielding and gunfire.

It is not for the first time that an alleged act of blasphemy has triggered such brutal aggression. Nor, sadly, will it be the last if bigoted mindsets persist. Only weeks ago, Christian houses in Kasur were burnt down because the majority community there was able to allege blasphemy to exact retribution in an otherwise purely secular feud. Yet it seems little is changing to avoid the repetition of such incidents. In fact, while Gojra burnt the local administration made only half-hearted efforts to douse the fires. That is why the Christians there insisted on senior officials being booked for murder as a precondition to ending their protests. They, after all, had a duty to protect citizens no matter what their religion. Are we not supposed to be a democratic society that treats all its members, regardless of faith, equitably?

Unfortunately, the fact that we have blasphemy laws suggests that we are not. These laws have become a ticket in the hands of the majority to persecute and victimise the minority communities if they don’t easily submit to their inferior status in society. In not being blind to the faith of each individual, the state is supporting bias and bigotry against non-Muslims. The narrow-minded who spew venom through their sermons against religious minorities are only the loudest and most abominable symbols of such discrimination and their growing following is an unmistakable sign of the frightening future that we are heading towards. A state held hostage by its own bigots cannot guarantee protection for religious minorities in its jurisdiction. For that to happen, the state will have to ensure that all forms of religious discrimination, including faith-based laws that victimise even innocent civilians, are done away with.
