The host country won the qualifiers with a total of 527 points — ITPF
Pakistan secured their spot in the Tent Pegging World Cup 2023 after dominating the qualifiers held in Pakistan.
Pakistan were impressive in the competition, winning first place and securing a spot in the second mega event of the sport.
It is worth mentioning here that the competition featured six teams, including the hosts Pakistan, Egypt, Libya, Belarus, Iran, and Syria.
Meanwhile, Jordan, who were placed second in the six-team competition, joined Pakistan in the Tent Pegging World Cup as well.
The host country won the qualifiers with a total of 527 points throughout the three-day competition.
Meanwhile, Jordan's Hussam Alkhanzaleh was the best competitor in the event, while the second and third place belonged to Pakistan's Naser Abbas and Tasawar Abbas, respectively.
Sultan Mohammad Ali, the president of the Equestrian Federation of Pakistan (ECP), congratulated the team after qualification for the mega event.
"The Pakistani players performed brilliantly throughout the event. God willing, this time the World Cup will also be ours," said Sultan Mohammad Ali.
It is worth noting here that Pakistan were not the initial host of the Tent Pegging World Cup Qualifiers as it got the opportunity to host the event after India lost the rights to host last year because it allowed its players to participate in Nepal's squad illegally.
