May I ask at which college?
Also is it compulsory for one to to know maths? (I am really bad at maths)..and also what type of maths? Is basic calculus enough or is there other stuff to know before taking physics.

I want to be able to understand quantum stuff in physics and hence why I want to brush up on maths...
this is just as a hobby....my profession is related to NHS healthcare and I have enough maths for this purpose (basic arithmetic)....

Quantum physics is very interesting and has lots of applications.

Yes, it is compulsory. Rather you will be occupied with lots of maths throughout your course. Analysis, function theory, and linear algebra basically.

Im sure jinnah sb put in alot of work to reach that..

In my case its been 2 years and only an year of actual practice.

Plus man.. its not really worth it when you got a family (married right after graduating and now ive got a 6 month old baby) ....

7am - 9pm .. slaving away for a firm and in the end getting crumbs.. fk that.

The plan is ... work for a month or so as a “legal advisor” (esstentialy a glorified house n155er)... establish my own company and start practicing...

@The Accountant can you help me with a bit of information please.

I was talking to my A-Level Accounting teacher and she told me that ACCA can not do audit, is that true? I'm planning to apply for an 'Accounting and Finance' degree which should give me exemptions when I apply to do an ACCA/CIMA. Another thing that I'm not clear about is if I do an ACCA or CIMA will I be considered a Chartered Accountant or are IACA of England and Wales considered Charactered Accountant?

Which of the professional bodies is the most valuable in your judgment?

As you can probably tell this is all my own research, everyone in my family are Engineers except for me. haha

Where are you planning to live ? Are you planning to establish your professional life in Pakistan or somewhere else?

IT is a good business but don't leave your practice. Setup IT business with you law practice. Lawyers earn more as they get old.

Acca can do audit and sign the audit reports in Middle East and UK .. in Pakistan ACCA can do the audit but cannot sign the audit report i.e. you cant be a partner ...

Acca and CIMA are not chartered accountants .. all of these are professional educations and are prestigious in their respective jurisdictions for eg icaew is best in UK and also accepted worldwide but within Pakistan CA is the top most qualification ... Reason of such discrimination is law as Pakistani chartered accountant is expert in local laws .. however on overall basis worldwide ICAEW is the most prestigious qualification ...
