If yes, this is insanity, unlike Chandigarh (joint capital of Punjab & Haryana), Hyderabad is completely surrounded by Telengana & shares no boundary with Andhra.

Yes it is a JT. But only for administration purpose. SA govt will have no right for Hyd. Governor will look after the law and order situation for 10 years.

In simple words, joint capital for assembly. Thats it. Not a Chandigarh situation.

vizag will be unlikely to become the capital owing to its geographical position..now the more drama starts on where the capital must be made..politicians of all the seemandhra will fight each other....but this time it would be good if whole state was developed economically not just capital city.development must be uniform so that future problems might be avoided..

well gven the fact that its in the north eastern part of the state and might be difficult for the people of rayalaseema to access it .people might not be very happy about making vizag the capital.besides area surrounding vizag is mostly agency area and forest lands and it might be difficult to manage drinking water if the city increases in future. so only time tells what may happen.i am guessing that capital might be formed some where between/around guntur-vijayawada..

I meant VGTM (Vijayawada-Guntur-Tenali) not the Vijaywada presently. In terms of water availability, scope for organised development and particularly geographical location its the best suited.

Vizag should be capital, if not, then all IT investments, Railway Zone head quarters, International Airport, High court should be at Vizag.
