Weight of an aircraft is next to irrelevant when it comes to manoeuvrability in today's fighters.
But crbon fibre composite material enhances manouverability?

Who cares? India does what it sees is right for itself. And it is not single engine jets only but ALL single engined aircraft (rotary and fixed wing).
Lolz i got my answer. Thanks.

tell me what is more important for air forces of the world people clapping on ground after watching there arial stunts or its fighters leathel capacity to cause damage on the enemy and survivability of its pilots :azn:
Pilots have issues sometimes ibelieve

there are always issues with something but owr pilots are very seasoned and well trained but the problem often that causes crashes are deu to low quality spares or maintainence neglegence and that is waht IAF is focussing more specialli after the advant of new NDA goverment

What relevance does this have to flypasts?
Read again i wrote manoeuvrabilty not flypast.

Ok.

Please, the IAF has, despite all the BS propaganda to the contrary, one of the most respectable safety records of ANY airforce in the world. There is no need to make any excuses for them, their performance is well within acceptable parameters.

i know but no matter how good you are there is still room for improovement and IAF instead of crying as what it doesn not have should focus its energies in maintaing what it has and maintainence is one department IAF needs to put a lot of effort into

Indian trollers have been deployed to spread misinformation... Always

Do you not think they are doing all they can on this front? These are not amateurs but honed professionals.
IAF is professional no dought about it and are doing fine with resources they have but they need to expand there horizon specially with intigrating there efforts to work with publick and private industry more to procure there spareparts and maintainence levels no matter how good you are there is always room for imporovment and i dont think they are paying the kind of attention they need to in this direction isntead of scouting owtside india for all there needs

Carbon fibre/composites and manoeuverability? Composites make for decrease in weight; lighter weight means more manoeuvrable. There is no direct connection.
Read below posts by abingdonbongboy that had made me ask him these questions. So now run after him with ur broom.

Weight of an aircraft is next to irrelevant when it comes to manoeuvrability in today's fighters. The Su-30MKI and F-22 are perhaps the most agile fighters in service today and are also amongst the most agile.
Carbon composites to not only aide in increased manoeuvrability but a whole host of additional performance measures over traditional airframe compositions such as RCS, maintainability and life cycle costs.
Apparently ur guy has refused ny link between weight and manoeurvability.

Apparently ur guy has refused ny link between weight and manoeurvability.

I don't think I'll do that.

Has to do with my weight and manoeuvrability. :D

Let's accept what the Indian friends want us to accept -- their LCA is a generation ahead of our poor little JF-17 -- and lets carve it in stone --

so that once the IAF gets its arse handed to it by that very inferior jet from China aka JF-17 -- they can't whine 50 years down the line of how the "JF-17 was better" which is why IAF got humiliated by it ...

after all, the indopak aerial warfare history tells a similar story for most of the "inferior" platforms PAF has fielded over the years... a prime example being the F-86 ...

Really? You have some plans? And any time you want to open the chapter on Indo-Pak aerial warfare history, just let me know.

This is nothing more than a turf war. Parrikar wants IAF to induct Tejas in large numbers and downplays the threat. IAF thinks better, more expensive solutions are needed and highlights the threats. I am not convinced that Parrikar is very interested here. Being defence minister does nothing for your political career- only the possibility of kickbacks and scams. One Indian politician with a good strategic perspective is Baijayant Panda of BJD. I trust and hope he plays a bigger role soon.
