I dont believe India will use fighter planes to bomb civilians.. Even Maoists..

whats keeping tejas from inducting in IAF? Engine problem or something else? Looking pictures they look so ready to be inducted right away I think complete avionics and weapon integration has been done completly ?

Its in limited serial production. FOC of LCA will be in Dec, 2012. 2 squadrons of LCA will be inducted by 2013 or 2014, and if i remember it correctly 3-4 LSV have been inducted in IAF.

TEJAS induction is being delayed by the IAF who want a the fighter to equal in technology to a MID FOURTH plane FROM THE VERY OUTSET.

if thee IAF did not have any options then it wouldn't be bitching about the Tejas procurement..
But cant blame the IAF for not spending money on a jet tht dose not provide anything xtra to what IAF already has, except for numbers and cheaper price of course.
