Railway MinisterSuresh Prabhu in his Rail Budget speech announced many new trains which will cater to the growing demand for services

Introduced Tejas - will showcase the future of train travel in India with operating speeds of 130kmph and above plus world-class on board services

Now PM Narendra Modi and Railway Minister S. Prabhu has taken the legacy forward and honoured our LCA program with a new train named "Tejas"

130Kmph is not a big thing. We already have Bhopal Shatabdi doing 155+kmph.
Plus almost all the Rajdhanis and Shatabdis do 130+.

Light combat aircraft logic wise 130kph

when we make AMCA it will be 160 kmph

When we make heavy aircrafts 200 kmph

When we make stealth UCAV --- Bullet Train

The biggest thing which Modi 1.0 Govt will leave behind in railways will be 20,000km of new tracks. And these 20,000 do not include doubling, tripling or gauge conversion.

And if they fulfill it, it will mean puntuality and safety.

Today trunk lines like NDLS-ALD-CNB-MGS-PNBE/HWH are facing upto 130% utility. When in ideal situation it should be around ~75%.

And this results in hampered movement of Rajdhanis too.
