I am very curious to know what is happening in Iran. Such BS news is lately making headlines. Is this due to change in leadership in Iran? Is the current Iranian leadership hostile towards Pakistan or are these fringe elements? Pakistan needs to reassess and recalibrate I suppose.

Is Pakistan going to reassert itself? Of course it is. Whether this is in Afghanistan or any other place. I guess the Iranians will have to deal with it.

I used to believe in friendly relationship between Iran and Pakistan due to both being Muslim. Unfortunately I don't believe that any longer. Even though I know the divide and conquer system of our enemies, I still feel its time to stand up to Iran.

With how things have turned out recently, Iran is always hedging its bets against its neighbours. It somehow is so insecure that it believes it needs some power in its hands, be that through BLA vs Pakistan, or NA vs Taliban, or through Armenia vs Azerbaijan. Or the various proxies in the middle east.

What a silly neighbour. So insecure, and has no trust and faith in its muslim neighbours. It believes that the only way to have cards in its hands is through the measures I mentioned above. It is so out of touch with reality and doesn't trust ANYONE!. This is too much. You can't live in this world without friends.

Taking the example of Pakistan, it doesn't realize that it can sometimes go too far and actually hurt the sentiments. For example will we ever forget how it sided with India when India was challenging Pakistan for Pulwama?, such a critical jucture, where as when the US was threatening Iran, we stood our ground and gave a clear answer to US that we will not be part of any war on Iran. And similarly recently, it crying about NA... Iran come back to reality, and don't push too far and hard that you lose a great friend like Pakistan for ever.

America has been trying its level best to create a rift between Russian and China. If it cannot achieve that objective, then the next best thing is a war between states backed by Russia and states backed by China. If that is not possible, then the next best thing is a war between a state backed by China's allies and a state backed by Russia. That would be a war between Azerbaijan and Armenia, or a war between Azerbaijan and Iran. Now is not the time to let America lure us into a useless war.

If the exercises near Caspian Sea are an issue, then Iran's reservations could have been satisfied by inviting Iran to join. And, strange as it may sound, just like under the SCO banner Pakistan and India joined the same military exercise in Russia, it would be a foreign policy genius if a military exercise could invite Pakistan, Iran, Turkey, Armenia, AND Azerbaijan. This is how you build trust, this is how you show leadership and foresight, and this is how you defeat your enemies.
