pitty it is!!! but whats the solution!!!

pitty thing is that it is there profession to be beggars!!!!and unfortunately most begging kids are illegitimate!!!!

i would like to see some solutions!!!

not just pasting some problem like old fashioned people

There's no immediate solution not hope for these poor kids since we've failed to eliminate poverty or to provide free education and jobs for the poorest.

Its even unislamic to treat the beggars the way we treat them. Islam teaches us to share our wealth with those in need in the form of zakaat, its our religious duty to take care of the orphans and the poor.

"Treat with kindness your parents and kindred and orphans and those in need. Speak fair to the people." - Al-Baqarah (2:83)

Verse 83 in Al-Baqarah (The Cow) refers to the universal moral law, that we should treat all with kindness, especially parents, kindred, orphans, and those in need. We must share our wealth and our opportunities with them. "Speak fair to the people" means those in power must be compassionate to the least among us and protect them from exploitation and manipulation.

"Speak Fair to the people" does not rectify the basic human flaws we possess that dissuade those in power from being compassionate to those in need.

"Weep at the sorrow and misfortune of man - it is man himself."

I don't know where or when I read that, but it seems apt after watching this. Life seems unbearably painful at times - a few days ago it was the Iraqi child doused in gasoline and set on fire by random strangers while playing in the street, now this. Sometimes I wish my faith was as strong as those who do not need to add "agnostic" as a prefix - then at least I could have more faith in the magnanimity of the Supreme Being and his power to set all things right at the end of days.

i think this profession can be abolished if the government make the people to understand the importance of education. As the lack of education and poor economy force these people to beg.

how about some welfare system?

how about some welfare system?

Yep that is the answer! Begging has become a profession in Pakistan and this makes people consider all beggers, young or old, as tricksters (not in a sexual way of course). Quran specifies a special treatment of the orphan in Al-Maoon and in other places but I think people have become desensitized due to begging becoming a money-making business (the downside being that poor little kids are also affected by it):

In the name of Allah, The Beneficent, The Merciful.

Have you not seen him who denies the Judgement

It is he who harshly repels the orphans

And does not urge others to feed the needy

Its a syndicate, the rise of beggers has alot to do with the human trafficking that happens inside devoloping countries/third world nations should be attributed to these syndicates who operates this pan nation network.

Personally I have seen this. We have seen them come and unload kids/women/men of all kinds, some ailing from leprosy, some from cancer/some having deep wounds/handicapped/blind. There are women and kids from Assam who i have seen begging in Kerala.
