Russia is shooting itself in the foot if this is how she is honoring her contracts.

That's what the Army top brass is against as it will cut out their fat commission cheques by the Russians. That's the reason why I said that Arjun Mk2s must replace the scrapped off T-90s even if it means firing 200+ top generals and court-martialing a few.

Why you always ready to see yourself a laughing stock? It is business, not a aid party for having a base in India. We buy weapons from Russia for long times and there were issues which were sorted out and will be. But when US kills your soldiers, have bases in your sountry which your sell for $$$, do you really mind the looting? Shame!

Well whatever is the case but its still better than anything in your arsenal unless you are purchasing leopard 2A6 or Abram or Challenger 2.

But you are right Russians are taking advantage of a friend and unless they change they will lose their biggest defence customer. But the thing is they are getting huge orders especially the PakFa one and the JVs are coming too good as a result it might be possible that in the future we will start seeing only JVs rather than direct purchase.

It makes me wonder if you even read the artical. There are a few little known excerices in which the T-90 performed as well as any tank could, and in fact in some areas outperformed similar tanks. In one excercise the T-90 recorded the highest rate of fire for any tank, not only was its rate of fire the highest recorded but all of the rounds hit their target 7/7
(while the tank was traveling 25km/h). There are some areas that the T-90 could be better but overall its a good tank.

But i will make a confesion, the T-90 is no match for the Al Khalid. Russian engineers have a ways to go before they can even hope to match the world class Pakistan and Chinese engineering genious and skill.
