Look at Indian auto market.. the first entrants were Maruti in a joint venture with suzuki.. So maybe u can also head that way or else can consider TATA vehicles as well.. they are total bang for buck

Actually that fact is that our auto part manufacturing sector is quite keen to produce their won small, medium and heavy truck, buses and other vehicles along with Small car like Nano and other ones. But the GoP is not willing to allow them to do so as they used to take money from Japanese firms.
