Time has come for Indian companies to get rid of their shyness and fears and enter into defense sector wide and clean !

Entry of private companies will raise the bar ...and improve the standards and efficiency .


India's private sector has always raised itself to meet global standards ...and delivered the goods .

It's high time that they prove their mettle in defense sector too .

I say it's high time that they take responisbility for the Indian defence too, not only for their financial growth. Production of parts for other forces and countries might help them as a company, but not Indian forces and Indian security and that has to change.

Either Airbus C295W's or Alenia C27J's, which are competing for the Avro replacement. Yes, MoD was searching for Indian industrial partners, that would team up with the winner to take over the licence production in India, to not put that on HAL again, which otherwise would be the only alternative.

Like to add one thing. Private companies give timeline on safer side by adding delay tolerrances unlike our PSUs. So 5 is max not min timeline.
