A black edition of the nexon ev was released last month.
Looks nice but just cosmetic changes. Needs a upgrade in battery size for more range.

Kia was crap until 2018-19...it was only after they came up with a completely new design language, both interior & exterior along with some improvements in the engine and introduction of tech features which happened in late 2019-2020 is when I felt they're worth considering

Kia Telluride is the #1 ranked SUV in it's segment...even the K5 took over full size sedan space here in the US. In India, Seltos is one of the best selling compact SUVs'

All thanks to Hyundai. Infact Hyundai Sonata and Kia Optima share the same engine. The only difference btw both was the features offered. For X price, you have feature A&B in Sonata, while for the same price you have only feature C in Kia Optima.

Hyundai has contributed quite a bit.

I'm aware of that and I am also talking about Nexon EV's ride quality being better than MG's counterpart

I don't know bout EV, but MG IC car is not bad. It's an luxury vehicle in India. It's being promoted as British Brand like how Land Rover is being done.

these are june end figures . With july figures the total sales of nexon ev sales are above 6200 now.
tata also has its older ev car models that it sells at a lower rate. Mostly for commercial buyers like taxi operators.
and its ev bus division is doing ok.

don't know bout EV, but MG IC car is not bad. It's an luxury vehicle in India. It's being promoted as British Brand like how Land Rover is being done.

Though spoiling the ev thread , MG ic car is not a British brand now , only in name. The quality of British brands was always bad but with the Chinese acquisition, its gone to the dogs. Mostly made in china now.
While land rover jaguar is still mostly made in uk.

Recycles old batteries in its plant. Tata chemicals ltd. They are setting up a plant for new batteries in Gujarat.

MG sucks dude...the Nexon is way better in terms of drive quality. If you intend to go for a petrol car, I'd suggest Kia

Tata has yesterday announced a rehashed tata tigor ev with ziptron technology. Basically upgraded the old tigor ev from 72 v to 300 v .
Tigor ev failed and was targeted to the fleet owners. This is a very poor reappearance as the buyers had rejected the old tigor ev and no amount of rejigging will help. It looks dated.
Instead everyone is waiting for the altroz ev with its modern looks.
