Tariq Azeem joins PML-N

L ahore: Former Senator, state minister for information and central information secretary of Pakistan Muslim League Quaid-e-Azam (PML-Q) Tariq Azeem has joined Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N).

The formal announcement was made during a joint press conference hosted by PML-N’s chief Nawaz Sharif in Raiwind.

Nawaz Sharif said that Azeem’s services would be utilised to strengthen the party’s relations with Middle East countries.f said

Talking to media, Nawaz Sharif said that government has failed to restore and order situation in Karachi.

He said that Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani has taken no notice of Supreme Court observation on increase violent incidents in Karachi.

He made government responsible for unrest in Karachi and Gilgit- Baltistan.

Talking on Siachen, he said that Army chief has backed his statement which is a good omen.

He further added that India would be responsive if talks on Siachen were held.

Many renowned leaders of PML-Q including Marvi Memon and Amir Muqam joined the party in the recent past.
