He was the only Congress leader who openly stood for Tamil. He single handedly make it possible for MPs to speak in Tamil etc in parliament (although 24 notice should be given unlike u can speak i Hindi any time with no notice).
He was responsible for Tamil telegraph.
He was a true Tamil patriot. His daughter is anti-Tamil. I think patriotism is not transmitted fro =m parents to children through DNA.
