First of all it is not a hypothetical scenario, since it is already happening and ISIS + TTP are fighting against Afghan Taliban in Afghanistan. Despite all their support from top agencies like RAW, Mossad and CIA and the wealth, they are outsiders and it is the history of Afghanistan that intruders and invaders ultimately lost and left defeated whether it was rogue USSR or arrogant USA so I predict Taliban will defeat ISIS finally. And if it down to selecting between Taliban and ISIS, I will pick Taliban 24x7.

Russia and US are bombing ISIS as far as I remember they didn't deploy ground force against them.
While in Afghanistan taliban has to fight ANA which is no outside force and have lot of helps from NATO.
