Well Chief Minister of East Pakistan, Hasina Wajid, who happens to be registered as a woman, also made a similar statement as political commentary on question of Afghan women borderline straight forward Islamophobia.

He's speaking for Islam, not Taliban.

It is to let the world know that the IEA are not representative of Islam, and the action which people are globally condemning and linking to Islam, is not Islamic, but rather rooted in tribal Pashtun culture.

i think Islam's moderation of extreme cultures need greater appreciation. It's message on freedom and liberty is as profound as its message on tolerance and coexistence.
