Taliban praise India for resisting Afghan entanglement

India for the first time has done the right thing entering Afghanistan would have been disastrous for India and they would have lost lot of soldiers and money in Afghanistan without gaining any thing

With due respect, India has always done the right thing.

India's foreign policy is with the least screw ups. It has remained consitent and in line with national interests.

this is some thing he will never understand.
we are not there to spill the blood of Innocent civilian population, we are there to guide them to the rightful place in the new world order as equals. We are there to give them what the world denied them so long (Freedom and a way to think out of the box)

it means thief is praising the cop.

original proverb was.. thief is accusing the cop.
obviously in this case the thief has to praise the cop, be cause the cop is we aware of his and his associates move and have made sure that Afgan gain independance and freedom as a nation with out Taliban and is working to make sure that they live a peaceful life once USA and NATO leaves

whatever taliban says,

India will keep on supporting afghan national government, ANA and ANP. We want great goodwill from afghan people and want them to develop the country in terms of education and infrastructure.

Don

Don’t take Taliban’s praise for India on face value

It would be too naive to take on face value the recent “praise” by the Afghan Taliban for India “resisting” US pressure for greater military involvement in Afghanistan. Rather it should be taken as a subtle warning and a message by India from Taliban that it should not meddle in Afghan affairs. Indian stakes are indeed high in Afghanistan and India will certainly like to have greater involvement in the trouble torn country lest Pakistan takes total control after the US led NATO troops start leaving from 2014 onwards.
