Taliban Overrun Police Base in Southern Afghanistan

History is history. Today's India is bigger then any individual kingdom in history. Before Britishers invaded India, Marathas has ended Islamic kingdoms in India.

We will be more than happy to have Taliban on our borders after they capture Pakistan.
Didn't Marathas get their @$$e$ handed to them at panipat by Ahmed Shah Abdali?? And then he raided Delhi after that and burnt it to the ground? Lol

. . .
No, Marathas were never able to regain their former glory after that defeat.
Panipat was only a minor event. Marathas expanded their empire for 50 more years after Panipat. In context of Marathas this battle is discussed because it is the only major battle that they lost. But it did not have much impact.

They were never a major power in Northern Subcontinent after that, and plus they got defeated by the British.

. .
They were. Search about Mahadji Shinde on internet.
So they managed to reach Delhi of a weak Mughal Emperor? What does that prove?? Afghanistan still dominated Northern Subcontinent.

That's like india invading Nepal or Bangladesh lol.

Seems PDF is being trolled by a bunch of kids! It is pathetic.

Grow up a bit and stop demeaning eachother!

Truth be told, you guys should visit some countries other than yours, then you will understand how both Pakistan, India and for that matter South Asia is considered a backward and pathetic region. It is not me talking but its fact here in the West where no body cares if you are a Pakistan,Indian or Afghan, we are like marked as backward, pathetic and no good, some more than others.

Who cares what happened in the history, what is important that we all work for a thriving region, one which competes with Europe and beats in Europe in innovation then you can be proud of yourself.

.

. .
Good. Within few days they will be in Pakistan.
Not really, these guys are travelling East to West.

It's the TTP that;s trying to go from West to East, though lately they seem to be moving backwards as they lose more and more territory in FATA.

more important that you read current affairs. Such this from your neighbor Mr.Ghani. May GenRasheel should fly to Kabul one more time and seek clarification...or if he had any sense, apologize.
Apologize for what? Did Karzai or Ghani apologize for the APS or Ismaili massacre? Did they apologize for the massacre of 20 Punjabi and Sindhi laborers and the more than 20 Pashtun bus passengers in Balochistan at the hands of the BLA/BLF/BRA/PANTIES groups?

The fact is that the Pakistan Army and Frontier Corps face possibly just as many TTP attacks on their posts as the ANA/ANP face from the Afghan Taliban and allied groups. Pakistani forces took heavy casualties in the initial years as well (an on rare occasion they still do, when luck favors the TTP), but they learned, adapted and trained to address deficiencies. The Afghans have to do the same - they have lawless areas in Afghanistan where the Taliban find sanctuary and local support just as the TTP do (though on the Pakistani side these areas have been reduced dramatically). The Taliban will not just stop, the ANA/ANP just have to continue improving. They have come a long way, but they also started off with nothing, unlike Pakistan that had an established military.

@AgNoStiC MuSliM - Pakistan has a quite a bit to apologize to Afghanistan for. To start with, the so called 'strategic depth' related actions; then during the WoT, allowing access to jihadi nuts to cross back and forth; again during WoT restricting access by NATO forces....

Can't apologize for figments of Karzai and the West's imagination. It is the US that foolishly diverted her attention and resources into Iraq after barely 2 years in Afghanistan, allowing the Taliban to reestablish themselves in the Afghan countryside.

Yes and the country creating problems for Pakistan since 1947 has nothing to apologize for.
Afghanistan had been interfering in the internal matters of Pakistan way before Pakistan started to do the same. And what is creating problems for Afghanistan? The warlords and drug lords after Soviet withdrawal were saints?

I agree, the origins of the problem are likely mutual. But the governments should have the maturity to not fall for the games played by the terrorist groups. When they attack somebody in Afghanistan and run to Pakistan for safe haven (and vice versa) it people like your Hamid Gul that sheltered and fed them, under the illusion that somehow they were playing this great game and 'maintain a stable of tigers for when they need'! In other words your government turned into nothing but yet another clan of warlords. In course of time, this actually split into several clans inside ISI itself - next thing you know one ISI clan is letting lose their own terrorist dogs on other parts of military as well as Pakistani public.

Something called national interests. Pakistan is not the only country which did something like that.
