The Taliban did not give the details of the trip - its timing or number of persons who visited - but security sources said that upto 11 members were included in the group.


They said the delegation talked about expanding relations with China and briefed Chinese officials about their policies.

Taliban are friends of Pakistan...right?

This move shows the ulterior objective of again legitimizing the Taliban by sending them to talks to Beijing.

This also goes against the claims that the OP against terrorism is non discriminatory.

Nothing good will come out of it, just like legitimizing the Taliban in the 90's and sending them to talk to the Americans. .
