Maybe , its something much more simple than you make it out to be , by refusing to believe in established facts but rather in wild conspiracy theories . She's just a victim of Taliban barbarism endorsed by the world , due to her courage of exposing them during their rule in Swat , how many men came out during that era to condemn the actions of medieval barbarians ?

The West can return to their country post 2014 , they do not share a border with Afghanistan , think about yourself , think about the curse of the insurgency and lawlessness created by the highly radicalized society which we have , the blunders of Zia-ul-Haq will haunt this country for decades . I do not want to go into detail about the foreign policy of Pakistan since the 80's .

It is interesting that you question our identity even after we have been a member of this esteem forum for over three years now. Among many, one of the great things about the United States is the freedom of expression. So, I guess, you are free to express your opinion. Now let me respond to the quote in question. I will just give you examples of two countries for now; Afghanistan and Pakistan. In Afghanistan over six million Afghan students are enrolled in schools; out of that 35 percent are female. Please let me know how many girls were going to school during the Taliban rule? In Pakistan; USAID has helped provincial governments repair and rebuild schools in flood, earthquake and conflict affected areas, including 150 schools in Malakand. They have also trained more than 10,000 school administrators and teachers and helped provincial governments introduce new associate and bachelor degrees to raise the qualifications of new teachers going forward. Just last year, USAID supported higher education with 21,000 scholarships for promising, but under-served students to enhance their employability and engage in research relevant to the needs of business, government, and communities.

There is no “Western savior complex” and Malala’s message has not been hijacked by anyone. It is truly a fabrication that West has killed more girls than Taliban. There is no truth in it, and no one should just make a blatant statement without any substantial proof.

In this day and age, with the worldwide web on your fingertips, you can look at what Malala was saying when she was 9 years old, and what she just said in the UN recently. Her message remains the same. She stands in the UN as a proud Pakistani young woman and speaks for everyone’s right to education. Where does the Western interest or message come in here? It is really important that every one of us rejects the conspiracy theories. These are webs, where if you get entangled, it becomes impossible to come out. Do not get into a predicament that will keep you entangled in the dark and not let you see the brighter side of things. Malala is a shining light for Pakistan.

You are confused like countless others on these threads running , either Malala is a paid agent of CIA now or her message was hijacked after the attack or either she was a CIA agent all along . So which one is it , in your case ? Either way , what the West has done isn't the point , what have we done to ensure the women education ? Care about your country , first .

For a moment you sounded like as if you were dealing with rational people. It's too insane to assume that Pakistan Taliban are tolerant, or progressive. The new Pakistani youth generation are very different from what we have seen over the last three decades - same goes with the Saudi youth by the way -

Clearly, the Pakisani Taliban pose a serious threat to Pakistan, they should come forward and talk to us just like their originators are doing now, otherwise, we may need to ask the SSG to hunt them down.

Nobody can sleep peacefully after killing innocents , none !

And as for Malala, I think everybody should be proud of her.
