The most vocal anti-Taliban and anti-Pakistan crook Amrullah Saleh seems to amaze even the Taliban on a regular basis. Today millions of dollars and Gold bricks were found in his house again. The puppet seemed to run for his life in a rush, and since then nothing has been heard or seen of him.

Taliban Claims to Find $6.5 Million in Cash at Saleh's House

The Taliban published a video indicating that the group found $6.5 million in cash from Amrullah Saleh’s house in Panjshir province.

The cash was reportedly obtained during an operation.

Shahab Lewal, a member of the Taliban's Cultural Commission, said: “Today our Mujahideen got $6.5 million and 18 gold coins from Amrullah Saleh’s house. We will return the money to the Ministry of Finance.”

Amrullah Saleh, the former vice president, has not yet commented on the video.

In a separate video posted on social media, meanwhile, a man wearing a military uniform was shot and killed by Taliban fighters. The incident is said to have occurred in Panjshir province.

Hashmatullah, a Panjshir resident, said: “ The condition of the people is worrying in Panjshir. The incident must be investigated.”

Naqibullah, a Panjshir resident, said: “This should be prosecuted. The international organizations and human rights groups should assess the incident. It is a crime.”

Taliban officials said the incident will be investigated. Abdulhaq Emad said: “Such videos and photos are published against the Taliban. The Taliban has proved many times that these videos are from previous events or even from other countries.

The chief of the Afghanistan Human rights Commission previously asked the Taliban to allow investigations into civilian causalities in Panjshir.

Could it be these cache of weapons and money was left for insurgency to find and use against Taliban. Which Taliban found while search mission.

(Web Desk) - American dollars and gold bricks have been recovered from the residence of Amrullah Saleh, the Taliban claimed on Monday.

Saleh was the first vice-president in the Ashraf Ghani administration.

Ahmadullah Muttaqi, chief of the Taliban's media branch, took to Twitter to post a video of an alleged raid on Amrullah Saleh's residence.

The video shows Taliban fighters sitting around two suitcases stuffed with cash and gold bricks. Some of the fighters can also be seen clicking pictures of the piles of cash in the 1-minute 26-second video.

Use it to pay the soldiers as compensation during this war. An uncompensated army can be a dangerous thing, as the old regime learned. Spread amongst the 10,000s of fighters; it could mean an average $100 bonus to each fighter, which could go a long way to show a little appreciation during these hard economic times, and a way to reward loyalty, and spread money in local economies. (I type in run on sentences, ;) )

The cousin of Nawaz Sharif and Zardari... They just stash everything in London...

That's just a week's worth of lifeline for a warlord in Afghanistan.

You can storm any gated community in any corrupt country.

Average age however is quite low in such professions.

LOL, this amounts to just 1 billion PKR.

an amount much much larger than this was discovered in houses of sharjeel memon and agha siraj durrani, rulers of a very under developed and backwards province. yet, nothing has been done against them.

Americans spent $290 million a day for 20 years in Afghanistan. I hope American people will take their leaders to task as why such amount was wasted while 26000 American die every year due to absence of health Insurance.

does anyone know about the Afghans who own those big villas in Dubai ?

100s of them

all of the got tons of cash from US

US knew they couldn't win so they would pay off the local warlords

so this is what happens and this is how it ends

It would be interesting to see if interim government in Afghanistan introduces a 2 percent amnesty scheme and 1 percent whistle blower scheme.

Some people insist it worked wonders in Pakistan.
