What's new

Taliban being airdropped in the Afghanistan's Northern corridor !?!?

Well, I also think indians are helping NA. But are you folks sure, I mean you only got the embassies as proof. If India is infiltrating Afghan policies, it needs to be nuked

What is an Afghan policy? there is no Afghan policy at the moment rather its US, CIA, Pentagon policy and Indians are also trying to get their share in this policy.

Hm, i want to know what karzai is smoking, so one of these days i can try it....

U.S. ambassador denies allegation of helping militants 20:44, October 14, 2009

The United States Ambassador to Afghanistan Karl Eikenberry Wednesday denied allegation that the U.S. is supporting militants in the post-Taliban country.

"I have heard rumors about the U.S. is providing enemies of Afghanistan weapons, helicopters and other supports, these allegations are all baseless," Eikenberry said in a ceremony attended by Afghan parliamentarians and officials commemorating Afghan soldiers who lost their lives in the war against Taliban and al-Qaeda.

He noted that "We have never helped the terrorists who attacked our nation in September 2001 and killed our soldiers, your soldiers and innocent Afghan civilians every day."

The ambassador stressed the U.S. long term commitment in Afghanistan and said "we are here alongside of Afghan National Security Forces (ANSF) to help protect Afghan people and ensure you never again live under a regime like one existed in September 2001 (Taliban regime)."

Moreover, Eikenberry stressed that "we would not keep our troops in Afghanistan (forever), we look to date when we could bring them home and leave Afghanistan to the hand of accountable government and the security to capable ANSF."

The speech of the top U.S. diplomat in Afghanistan came in the wake of U.S. president Barak Obama, in an unannounced move, approved sending of 13,000 more additional troops to combat Taliban insurgency in the war-torn country.

Afghan President Hamid Karzai and some officials alleged that anti-government militants had been airdropped by unknown helicopters to the relatively peaceful northern provinces to derail security there while the militancy-hit southern Afghanistan has seen increasing Taliban-led insurgency.

Interesting - so the Afghans are implying the US was involved?

Why else would the US ambassador have to refute the allegations?

Take this in conjunction with one of the election monitors, a Karzai supporter, resigning days before the results on the extent of the fraud are revealed, a ruling in which Karzai stands to lose the most.

The election official has already alleged the 'Western powers are interfering', and with this new allegation, the stage is being set by Karzai IMO to boost his own standing by dragging the US/NATO through the mud.

Any odds on the chance that the mysterious helicopters are ANA
Mi-17's, a few bribes in the right place and taliban transport problems solved.

Local Fata Residents have also told the same fact that US helicopters provide supplies to there troops and the so called taliban at the same time across the hill.

They merely hover over from here to there just to complete their sorties :)

 Means US is providing the helicopters to Taliban in Afghanistan or in other words dropping Taliban into Northern Afghanistan to prolong its stay in Afghanistan and carry on its war against Pakistan

Ahaaan; turns out the US was selling to both sides as it has always been thought of :sniper:

Is Karzai leveling ground for making of Afghan Air Force?

does any one think ..Iran maybe involved here? To beat America in Afganistan.. they obviously have a threat if America settles in Af- Pak
sometimes u indians indeed make sense. appearantly farah, afghan province close to iran, has been relatively quiet when it comes to taliban 'nd civilians were getting happy taliban might 've stopped attacking. but then seeing them fly into the north, even tho iran is the nearest enemy of the area with jets/planes 'nd u name it, they might 've very wel corporated sending them to the north in order to prevent danger in iran. if truly iran is involved then very smartly done....

Anyone seriously Iran could be involved. No proofs nothing. They are just hidden in any story except nuclear..

no matter how anti indian we 're when it comes to politics, but I dont think india got any reason to transfer them from south to north. south borders pakistan 'nd only pakistan 'll be troubled if taliban stays in south. but north is full of indians 'nd once taliabn arrive in north then again indians 'll get troubled by them. 'nd besides, the pipeline which was supposed to be built from afghanistan through iran has now been changed to, from afghanistan to india. so india 'll only be at loss here 'nd iran has been trying to destabilize afghanistan for a while anyway
