There are many NGO's and aid work being done in Pakistan whose funds come from outside. these organization employs local people. Now if some local workers asks for salary and running costs then do you think he knows where the fund comes?? Do you think a guy who worked in America will work for a low pay in Pakistan? If he had asked millions then I would have accepted your POV.

Well convicting the man, which is now an internationalized case, seems to be an act of cutting one own's foot in the long run. At least an open trial would have been fair answer to international concern.

By the way do you recommend any punishment for the Official Bounty Hunters??

I'd argue putting him in prison (regardless of whatever reason and whether the US thinks its wrong/Pakistan things its right) is better for his safety than letting him out freely in the public. After all, if the Taliban is after him, he's dead bait anyways out there.

So 4 choices

1. Release him from prison and the Taliban will deal with him.
2. Keep him in Prison for a life sentence, not just 33 years.
3. Execute him to prevent Taliban from launching attacks on others during the pursuit of finding him and causing more damage.
4. Pardon and forgive him, only after he spends a minimum of X # of years providing free medical community service (while also spending time in jail) And even after that terminate his license and his ability to practice or have any sort of government job.

Case of Sadam Hussain, Iranian President, Raza Pehlavi, Kernal Kazafi, Musharaf.. you name anybody who supported America died or destroyed himself miserably. Case of Shakil Afridi is not different but USA doesn't want the world to see its dark policy of "Use and Loose" and keeps yelling in the favor of traitors like Shakeel Afridi. Pakistan media should launch a campaign and tell its countrymen using all historic references that what a country United States is and how much devastation it is to support America both in person and as a country.
