Globalisation, a steady stream of capable workers, capitalism is based on the profit trickle down model so manufacturing is essential and cheaper via hiring immigrants or people on contracts. Plus I believe SK and Taiwanese local population is on a downward spiral or not interested in construction and menial jobs anymore. How it benefits India is by reducing unemployment and strain on domestic economy.
Also it's different for each country Israel wants labourers to replace the Palestinians and Taiwan wants blue collar workers and specialists like doctors and stuff.
Realpolitik is a part of it though plus Indians tend to integrate with other cultures and have decent proficiency in English.
