Taiwan bound to join TPP: Taiwan's envoy to US

Do you even know the basic procedure for a debate?
Oh God....Why I feel that? Because I could not find any reasonable explanation to answer my questions below.

How VN in the current stage competes with other countries without certain protection? Has VN established a comprehensive regulation on financial market yet?
Did I imply? Yes, I implied. But that is not statement. Again if you have any resource for answering my questions, Please let me know.

And how do you know the VN negotiators are not fighting for their own interest? the negotiation is secret, were you there inside the negotiation room to see that VN are not fighting for their own interest? You got it?
Details of deal will be secret. The major topics and issues should not be secret. You got it? Otherwise How did I find those information?

So you don’t know the answer yourself, which means you should not make any implication at all.

Asking questions is no problem, but don’t make any insinuation or implying something like VN negotiators does not fight for their own interest.

Now, You got my point. Finally. I could not find any reasonable analysis for my questions. That's the reason I post my questions about TPP for VN. That's why I said VN's attitude towards TPP make me feel weird. Got it?

lol, Japan doesn't even want to buy any nuclear radiation free fruit from Taiwan.

They got a huge surplus with China, but a huge trade deficit with Japan.

Taiwan Balance of Trade | 1981-2015 | Data | Chart | Calendar | Forecast

Well i suppose the reason why the balance of favor tilts to Japan's in regards to Japan-Taiwan trade relations --- is because Japan has some stringent tariff requirements. The TPP, would encourage and assuage Japan to reduce or semi-extinquish most of her industrial tariffs , so this would undoubtedly open the large Japanese market (130 million) to Taiwan.

In fact, I think what should have been done years before was the creation of a FTA between Japan and Taiwan. That should have been done back in 2000.

If they are not secret then why don’t you just post it here instead of bickering on other stuff.

I’ve already asked you for some specific case for VN...how much it currently cost for different kinds of medicine for the average Vietnamese, how accessible are they? How different will they be after TPP? same thing with other issue you have raised like diary, automobile, etc. Give us some credible analysis and reports specifically on Vietnam since you have specifically singled out Vietnam in this thread.

Then let them to suck you 100 billion dollar per year.

To trade with Taiwan is always a liability for us, and good riddance for us to kick them out.

Well, to be honest, Taiwan has some pretty nice industrial sectors and great banking systems. I should say we could see greater Taiwanese-Japanese inter-banking system cooperation. Japan and Taiwan can cooperate on loan provisions for international partners, actually. Those have impressive dividends, and return on investments is quite lucrative. On that aspect, we have to be mindful, too, that Japan and Taiwan are both ultra-developed countries. So with such high per capita levels and exceedingly high (superior levels of HDI), we can't really expect any more. Just maintaining the high levels.

The lip service is useless, they need you to feed them 100 billion dollar per year with the real tangible money.

Can you do it? Go ahead.

Dude, Who told you the major topic of TPP is secret??

Well, the TPP has been bragged for many years, but yet no single country has officially joined it.

Meanwhile, the AIIB has only been out for a year, but the membership is already close to 100.

This is the difference between the success and the failure.

I think they can gain $100 billion and more in increased trade deals ! And lastly, i don't think there will be severance of trade ties between Taiwan and China; come on, buddy. I don't think we East Asians operate in such "absolutist" terms. We always keep doors open.

You know this.

Its not correct, however, to compare a trade pact community (The TPP) with a banking community (AIIB), lol. Its a totally different developmental paradigm, and a totally different apparatus in itself. lol.

Why I can not imply? Then please prove me wrong. Show me some reports that can answer my questions.

Because you admit you don’t know the answers to those questions so you cannot make any insinuations or implications from them. You can ask questions and seek the answers, yes. But making implications and insinuations from it without knowing the answers, no.

Like I said, if you say something, it is your responsibility to back it up, not mine.

Like if you write a college research paper, you can’t just make a thesis without any supporting arguments/sources and tell the marker/readers, “prove me wrong, biaatch”.
