Turkish designer Omer Erkmen designed the tail logo for Pakistan F-7s. According to Omer Erkmen, the fleet contacted via instagram and sent the tail measurements. The designer also said he will prepare a new work for the Talon fleet and send it to the Pakistan Air Force.

The Mig-21 was designed as a fast speed interceptor.
It's job is to get there, as fast as possible.

Till date, it is the best possible design for the job it was intended to do.
Everything from F-16s, to F22, to whatever, is just a compromise.

From an engineering stand point, the simplicity of the machine, and it's robustness is second to none.

Thus, learn to respect that.
