قالت وكالة الأنباء التركية "الأناضول" إن الفريق صدقى صبحى، رئيس أركان حرب القوات المسلحة، سيزور أنقرة الأسبوع الجارى، لمعاينة مروحية هجومية تركية، محلية الصنع، تم الانتهاء من تصنيعها مؤخراً.
وأوضحت الوكالة فى تقريرها، نقلاً عن مستشار الصناعات الدفاعية الوطنية التركية "مراد بايار" إن المروحية، من طراز "أتاك"، ودخلت آخر مراحل إنتاجها، وستدخل الخدمة قريباً. وأضاف بايار خلال اجتماع التعاون فى مجال الصناعات الدفاعية الذى عقد فى ولاية "دوزجه" شمالى تركيا، جرى خلال بحث سبل التعاون مع الصناعيين فى الولاية، ومدى قدرتهم على المساهمة فى رفد التصنيع الحربى فى تركيا: "التطوير فى مجال الصناعات الدفاعية فى تركيا جار على قدم وساق، وعلى محاور مختلفة"، مشيرا إلى أن تركيا ستبدأ تصنيع دباباتها المحلية بعد نحو عامين، كما أنها تصنع طرازات مختلفة من السفن والزوارق الحربية التى جرى تصدير بعض منها إلى قطر، وباكستان، وماليزيا، ومصر، وجورجيا، وتركمانستان".

Turkish deputy premier Babacan said the credit line is aimed at supporting Turkey's defense exports
ANKARA
Turkish Deputy Prime Minister for economy Ali Babacan said Monday Turkey was set to provide a credit line worth of $250 million for the Egyptian government via the Turkish Eximbank to be used in defense purchases.
Babacan said the loan was aimed at supporting exports of the Turkish defense industry, adding that loan was an extra to a previously-agreed sum of $1 billion destined for the Egyptian government.
Babacan said a cooperation agreement had been penned between Turkey's Undersecretariat for Defense Industries and the Turkish Eximbank last week.
