It seems like a mock up of T-629 , atak 2 has 2 designs leaked, one in the TAI app and the other from idef.

I mean its ugly but its the first mock up leaked so far so we will see.

look ugly and cheap hope they make it better then this the real one .

Exactly- It won’t go to a beauty contests. Looks doesn’t matter at all. What matters in the end of the day is the platform to be efficient, cost effective and to do its job well. That’s what matters in a war.

I want to see the full matured, flyable prototype, to be honest I also expected more because they plan already the first flight this year so that mock up kinda disappointed me but its a mock up and not a prototype so we will see

by the way the new Heli of TAI was shown in Banghkok fair, as ATAKII. there are still a name confusing.

Reminds me a bit of the Tesla Cybertruck which looks strange at first but grows on you with time. If they choose that design I am sure that by the time it’s ready for work it will be flawless. I have complete trust in our engineers and designers.

Acc to Tolga Özbek, The T-629 has a MtOW around 7,5t. I don’t know whether It is true but that is new to me.

Tolga Ozbek claimed that "t629 is modified Gokbey" just a couple months ago.
