Syrian women share personal testimonies of rape by regime soldiers

.
Well I did not know that, I remember that recent banner you posted in your post. A lot of us have hypocrisy and it's not easy to overcome especially when you feel more obliged towards your country/ethnicity. I agree we should all work on that. As for him personally, I don't know how he is in his real life but I don't like 'Islamist' terminology. I wish it would go away(Islamist's fault too). Then we can judge people on principles/values as opposed to affiliations or tendencies which might not be reflective of their character.

What people expect from Arab nations towards Israel is mostly emotional rhetoric as opposed to real action on ground, because no one is really risking military adventures on the ground. These days people are driven by emotional rhetoric because they feel emotionally defeated which is worse than being militarily defeated. And so they want Arab leaders to make energetic remarks but don't realize Arab leaders grew out of that phase(40's-70's).

The whole situation in region requires new people to rise up and give their expertise in all fields. It looks people in region lack confidence and feed theirselves lots of rhetoric/fantasies/conspiracies to cope with harsh reality. We need to rise out of that, it's unimaginable we lack confident people and exceptional leadership(not just literal governing, all fields). It is there somewhere but some conditions need to be put into place to encourage them to give their input.

It's easy for me to say, and honestly if I was in their shoes I'd probably see that it is not a risk worth taking or not worth putting energy into as people are resistant to change.

Although I am not fond of most modern-day Islamists (who abuse this word and Islam often as do most regimes in the region if not all), especially in the diaspora (as I consider many of them to be hypocrites, at least those online and the few that I have encountered in person), I would have respected his views if he was consistent and not a hypocrite. If he criticized all regimes in the region when they do something he does not like too. When he did not play Turkish/Turkic nationalist 1 day and the other day a pan-Islamist. It's hard to take such hypocritical persons seriously.

There is nothing wrong with displaying a banner showing the a Shahada but it can be used without the "Jihadist connections" (Black banner). Such banners are usually used by keyboard warriors online (teenagers often).

Of course I do not know him in person either. He might be a great guy. I am only judging from his posts here and my interactions with him.

I agree. I often criticize Arab regimes and policies in the region but I never see him criticizing his own. Only barking against Arabs that he seem to be obsessed about despite being so much influenced by Arabs and his people and history.

If he stoped that and became more constructive, I would have no problem with him.

Earlier today he wrote this post in this thread below. His usual behavior of late.

How to judge it otherwise? I don't know.

Is your IQ comparable to a dog or a wolf? My question has alot to do with your post.

Now answer me

Why does Turkey have a Israeli embassy on its soil ?

you retard that has nothing to do with israel pharao and raping.. tell me how you connect it with that..?

there is nothing wrong with israel and their embassador in Turkey.. why do you have a problem?

This is a radical Islamist that lives in Germany

you should have seen my beard.. :)

That was the avatar that he used until recently:

BUH! not really it was a little bit diffrent but it looked almost the same..

Dude, I can grow a quite long beard within 2 months.

What is your obsession about 500 million Arabs and 20 + Arab countries? Are you also obsessed about the millions of Turkish citizens of Arab or partial Arab ancestry? That predate the Turkic migrations to Anatolia.

For example the first lady of Turkey. She is of Arab origin. Many other well-known Turks are this as well.

Nobody would have a problem with you if you were not this hypocritical and if you controlled your Arab phobia.

Because I see you insulting/obsessing about Arabs and Arab countries very often on PDF and only speaking out against them while remaining silent when others (all other Muslim countries) do the same.

I don't have any problems with Turks either or Turkey in case you believe that.

Better not to reply to the obsessive types, brother.

Should you not be claiming Mughal, Arab, Persian and Turkic ancestry simultaneously and writing nonsense?

Relax man. It's just a language. Anyone can learn to speak Arabic.

Where did Arabic language come from?

No, Arabic is actually one of the most complicated and hardest languages in the world to learn.

Not to mention the grammar and a different (unique) alphabet.

no because I supported qatar? or because I am against SA many times? or I am mostly angaist UAE? by taking sides with lebanon, tunesia or other.. I am against the big dictator in egypt.. there are other arab nations I have no problems with.. the most problem appear in gcc and their support for bad politics.. other arab nations are much calmer and there is nothing big to complain.. I tried to show you in the past that I am not someone who is always silent about his or other countries.. I am not obsessed with arabs or iranians..

for excample sometimes I am taking sides with iran and many times I am against them (government) if somethng is right and good than why deny it.. many people cannot be marked as right wing , left wing or else you often think too much in black and white..

but at least I have to admit maybe because of some free views of yours or your kind of writing we face some troubles.. sometimes ppl dont like each other even if they dont know each other .. = I think maybe I should not respond to you

I did many insulst and some trolling against you.. I apologize for that.. better we stay off, sometimes its better to avoid each other..

Say what you want...we ain't the ones who fought a 40 year war over a camel.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Basus_War

No such war occurred of this context. Look at the Arabic version of that "Wikipedia" page. The English version is a joke. The grammar and the one or two sources used are laughable. A 10 sentence long article as well or something along those lines.
It was a territorial war between two leading clans that controlled kingdoms at the time. Nothing comparable to numerous wars in the region (West Asia) at the time or outside of it.

BTW rather than a war it was a conflict and the 1 Arab historian who recorded it (apparently) talks about the conflict lasting 22 years and with years of peace in between. There was no large scale war but some personal vendettas.

That is why this conflict is used as an example for senseless (mostly) vendettas in Arabic proverbs.

Other than that the Arab world and Arabia has never experienced genocides or anything remotely similar. Most wars fought (even the first recorded wars in human history which occurred in the Arab world) never had massive casualties. Outside of Yemen, Arabia has been one of the most peaceful regions of the world in the past 100 years. Prior to that this was a case for much of the time as well.

You are free to criticize governments but when you are inconsistent or hypocritical, which has often been the case, obviously other users will counter you and show you the mirror. There is nothing unnatural about this.

Your perception and opinions are just that. Opinions. I usually don't bother discussing opinions here or online and tend to prefer to stick to facts whether historical or ground realities. Based on that I give my views. Sometimes my conclusions might be off (according to some) but that is normal.

Well, I think it goes both ways and as for "insults" it does not bother me and as you know I reply in kind. I apologize as well if it bothered you. However such discussions are not exactly constructive and mostly a waste of time.

Well, that is an option indeed.

Islamist this. Islamist that. Sound like all the sellouts here in England.

More often than not, nowadays Islamist is just a term used to malign Muslims who are recognise the political role which Islam plays.

Arab nationalists need to contemplate on the words of one of the greatest Arabs ever to live:

Tariq ibn Shihab reported: Umar ibn Al-Khattab, may Allah be pleased with him, said, “Verily, we were a disgraceful people and Allah honored us with Islam. If we seek honor from anything besides that with which Allah has honored us, then Allah will disgrace us.”

Islamist means absolutely nothing. This is a bully tactic to make Muslims afraid of being politically involved.

My question is simple. Was the Prophet Muhammad saws an Islamist or a Muslim? If these new enlightened secular Muslims have some new message, please bring it so we can judge it independently. Which new heavenly book do you follow?
