Syrian air defenses repel Israeli aggression, intercept several hostile missiles over Damascus

Given the state of conflict Syria is in, the Israelis have realised they have the opportunity to strike periodically without the fear of full scale retaliation from the stretched and preoccupied Syrian army. It's nature, if you show an opening then opportunistic beings take advantage. Furthermore, you have to remember that Israel is acting out of desperation. They could not do anything regarding the creation of Hezbollah, nor its increase in strength. The Israelis know they cannot afford another Hezbollah like front created against them in Syria. Unfortunately for them, that's inevitable now.

Very soon Iran is going to move ballistic missiles to Syria, lets see how Israel attacks then.

Was this S300 or S400

S300 & S400 only Russian have in Russian bases in Syria,
Syria have only S200 and other low quality defense systems

Hasn't Iran deployed its indigenous anti-air defense systems in Syria? For Syrians, the Iranian missiles would be much better, as they've not been compromised yet.

Why are your generals making promises all the time to respond to the Israelis or do other things to them if they won't own up to it? Has it struck you that your leadership is not serious about getting into a confrontation with the Israelis? Maybe they believe there is no point it and it will do them no good.

It seems like you guys on the forum here try painting a different picture about the reality. The Syrian army was stronger than Hezbollah pre revolution/civil war. So I don't get your argument.

You guys advertise yourselves as revolutionists who will deliver change to the region. And your political remarks and speeches all try to infer to domestic populace of ME that you are on offensive. When Israel gives you many chances to prove this you seem to suggest you're on the defensive only.

So somebody's lying, I'm gonna go ahead and say it is your leadership who lies for propaganda purposes and to assume more soft power in region.

Those are the targets we bomb lmao

Syria has it's own S-300 shortly since the IL20 incident. But it's useless.

It did.

Imagine being this delusional.

Israel has been "bombing Syria periodically" for decades now.

It's good that even with the global pandemic, Israel is still squashing Iranian terrorist bugs and sending them back to Tehran in body bags. 4 Iranians and 3 Hezzies eliminated.

Keep it up Israel

Assad cant even take the golan heights back. By the way his father did not allow the Iraqi army to recover the golan heights.

Assad regime is a b*tch to Israel.

No Iranian gets killed. As usual Israeli airforce bombs poor native Arabs employed by IRGC.

No Iranians killed? How come the trucks and the weapons on board are Iranian?

Perhaps start with posting those promises first and then we can go from there.

If that was the case, Iran would not have created Hezbollah and would not be creating new fronts against Israel. There are long terms game plans in effect here, for some reason you're not seeing the that.

It seems like you guys on the forum here try painting a different picture about the reality. The Syrian army was stronger than Hezbollah pre revolution/civil war. So I don't get your argument.

What's the relevance of their power before the conflict? Did Iran yield more or less influence before this internal conflict?

You guys advertise yourselves as revolutionists who will deliver change to the region. And your political remarks and speeches all try to infer to domestic populace of ME that you are on offensive. When Israel gives you many chances to prove this you seem to suggest you're on the defensive only.

The issue here is your expectations regarding with this "proving" is. To those that are watching the situation with a clear view, it is obvious what is happening. You lot think Hezbollah/Syria not replying to few Israeli strikes means they do not want a conflict with Israel at all. Obviously, the reluctance in retaliating is because Syria Army and allies in Syria are in is no position to attack at this time. All retaliation will do is invite more US presence etc right now. Why sacrifice your long term plans for a few short term glory kills?

So somebody's lying, I'm gonna go ahead and say it is your leadership who lies for propaganda purposes and to assume more soft power in region.

From what I can, your issue is you employ a rather short sighted view of these conflicts. This will obviously limit your perspective.

Imagine being this delusional.

It would appear the main substance of my comment went over your head. I am not surprised. Try focusing on why they're not replying right now.

Its common knowledge that 95% of the casualties in the Israeli (or US) airstrikes in Arab countries are native Arabs working for the IRGC. Pakistanis and Afghans are in the second place by recruiting numbers and casualties.

About this attack, show proof they are Iranian soldiers from Iran.

This is strange form of reasoning. Just because the weapon in questions belong to Iran, it does not equate to casualties being Iranian too.
