Apparently an F-35 can survive a huge 200kg warhead of the S-200, fly back to base, and our mechanics are so good that they got it flying in less than a week.

This is called mental gymnastics. You're trying find all the excuses you can find. The S-200 can utilise proximity fuse, it may have exploded in a distance not close enough to cause completely destruction. SAM's are not always fully effective. It happens.

The Syrians weren't trying to hit it because
1. The F-35 wasn't even operational yet
2. The F-35 wasn't flying over Syria
3. Even if it was, the Syrians cannot detect it.

Right, it was not operation and flying over Syria and yet, apparently it was there to be hit by a "bird". And sorry, but the fact the Syrian so quickly came out with their story and you had to invent your bird story hints to what actually happened.

The single time an Israeli F-16 was shot down, Israel immediately responded with overwhelming bombardments, of Iranian troops, UAV command centers, Syrian air defenses, etc.
Israel cannot hide the death of pilots, or any death in general, our press is free.
Iran on the other hand, being the dictatorship it is, can hide deaths.

To even claim they took a single life they need surveillance on the airbase. Did they have any footage of the strike? Any proof someone was killed? I highly doubt it.
