Public awareness on this issue is very high here. You learn at an early age to sort out waste, so that it can be reused again. Also there are small recycling huts or stations close to every residential area. Ours is less than a 60 second walk, so its not a huge ask to recycle yourself.

Sweden can definitely teach the countries of the Subcontinent how to do this. What they do is nothing short of worshipping the gifts of nature and honouring the resources.

I hope all our leaders collectively have the good sense to approach Sweden to invest and run garbage recycling plants in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan, Afghanistan, Maldives, etc.
