Swedish detention order against Julian Assange remains - DN.SE

The Swedish detention order against Julian Assange remains in place according to a ruling by Stockholm District Court at a hearing today. The decision means that the Wikileaks founder must remain at the Ecuadorian embassy in London to avoid being arrested and deported to Sweden.

------------------------------
If the detention order aginst Julian Assange would have been lifted,
he is still wanted by U.K. Authorities for escaping bail.
------------------------------
The cost of guarding the Ecuadorian Embassy against his possible escape is now estimated to be around $11M

A democracy country like Taiwan, has free speech and free press.

I'm very proud with DEMOCRACY.

Not the communist hellhole!

So what had free speech to do with it?
He is wanted for sexual abuse of two women.
