From where comes VW in South Africa ?

VW is built here for so many decades; outside Port Elizabeth - one of the largest plants worldwide. VW Golf, Polo/Jetta are 2nd tier cars with poor resale value. However their Caravelle is good but you have to buy extended warranty as something always goes wrong and it can cost you around 800-1000$ to fix at the minimum. They cannot match the hardness of toyota.
No my dear friend, not so in southern africa. VW starts to develop problems in electricals right on 3rd year; it is just a laughing stock here.
