That is the absurdity of our Reservation quota system,All the Merit students dont get seats cos of Reservation quota and end up in foreign land,even when they come back,they have to go through many hassles to get their degrees recognized.
Tell me which 90% scorer in other boards get a direct assurance of a Medical seat without writing the NEET and corresponding Medical Entrance Exams?
There are dime a dozen 90% scorers in General Caterogy,they are offered B.SC,Agriculture, or Animal Husbandry,Microbiology if they get a rank below 2000 in Medical Entrance Tests.
I mean WTF?
A gerneral category student has to have a rank in 500-1000 to land a MBBS seat,while the same Minorities and reserved class get the same seat even though they end up in 30000 rank of the same examination.
What kind of a biased system we have here,do you think that general category student who spent time studying so hard,will want to live in a land which is so biased against him/her?

You mean in Pakistan? International students? you mean Non resident Pakistanis?
That is what pissed me off, too,You are offered a Medical seat without any Donation etc.
You want to reject it because Karnataka has a different culture and language?
Then she should better stay at home and let other deserving General quota candidates takes that seat which was allotted to her.

After the Persecution they faced in Pakistan,with the abduction of Hindu girls a daily affair in Pakistan.
Like Rinkle Kumari who was a Doctor herself in Pakistan.
Then she must be jittery as they have moved to India only 2 years ago.
But ,she and her parents must understand that they are in Hindu Homeland,Unless she gets Love Jihaded by some Mullah in Karnataka,she has no reason to worry and can settle there,as Karnataka and Southern Indian States are a safe place for women.
Oh please, stop throwing one name Justice Bhagwan Das, you can't even spell his name Das correctly, you spell it as DAAS like some German or Scandinavian. One name cannot bury the fact that there is a daily flood of Hindus into Bharat from Pakistan and Bangladesh seeking Asylum.While the same cannot be said about Muslims trying to seek asylum in Pakistan.
Many of my Rajasthani friends did Post Graduation in Medicine in Karnataka and AP.Infact they chose to stay here and work,even asked their family to relocate here as it was safer,but some old people cannot let go of the land they were born in,atleast their wives and children are in South.
Stop living in your dreams,that Government can create more seats.
Unless, they dissolve MCI( Medical Council of India) which is corrupt to the core and autonomous,they cannot do jackshite!
The last time we saw the faceoff was between Dr.Anumbamani Ramdoss,who wanted to cover MCI to come under MOHFW(Ministry of Health and Family Welfare) umbrella, it was fought tooth and nail.Even after the corruption charges to the tune of 600 crores the MCI chief was reinstated in UPA2.
The only seats they can create are Private Medical Colleges which are Run by MLA,Ministers and Businessmen.
Where they ask you capitation fees of 50-60 lakhs for a General category student or NRI quota.Just for MBBS at a C-Grade Medical College.If it's a Medical college like Manipal(Money-Pal) it goes upto a crore for MBBS.Not to mention the Post Graduation Capitation, which runs into crores and are booked for 2-3 years in advance by parents.
The dissolution of MCI never came through.
The Doctor to Patient ratio is 1:1600 ( that means a single Doctor has to meet the demands and keep up with 1600 people in normal,Critical situations, worse than sub-saharan regions in govt. hospitals in rural areas).
Even Robots won't fare that well when Encumbered with such burden, they break down somewhere down the line.
They Forgot Doctors are Humans too,not some Error free Machine.
Neither does any Government increases the pay scale of Govt. Doctors,instead they try to cut even the basics allotted to them.
Nor do they have Infrastructure built,wherein a Doctor can practise.
Worst part is Doctors gets assaulted and killed for no reason (as it happened in UP and Bihar), as because they are "GODS" and are supposed to save people by magic.
When you bring people who are already dead to hospital,what did you expect a miracle from Doctor?
The people go rampaging across the hospitals,destroy equipment and beat every Health worker and Doctor on site,who has no clue as to why?what happened and why are they getting beating for no reason of theirs.
The government won't issue Gun licenses to Doctors to protect themselves, nor make it a NoN-Bailable bond for assaulting a Duty Doctor.
Everyone gets away with beating the Doctors to a pulp and sometimes killing them in process or permanently maiming them.
Which kind of Idiot would want to join such Profession?
Do you think soldiers have it easy?The Doctors too live their life on the edge like soliders,that is why there are many suicides in their Profession ,far more than other Professions.
Her Parents might not be a burden on India,but for the rest of what you say is wrong.
Like creating a additional seat-created for her--You are wrong on this part.
She is depriving an Indian student. Unless there is some special charter where they can increase seats.(Which i don't know frankly speaking,maybe there is some special Category )
I laud Modi for helping Pakistani Hindus.Infact i want him to make it a Homeland for Persecuted Hindus/Dharmics all over the world.
I also agree she was not given a chance to appear in our Common Medical Entrance Test because it was only open to NRI and Indians. So if they gave her a chance to appear in Common Medical Entranct Test perhaps she would have scored a Merit seat.
Because she scored 90% in CBSE i am not complaining.
