IMO, anything that would be inducted in large quntites should be manufactured under licence if expertise are not there to build a indigenous system or JV

this includes tanks, backbone fighter, artillery gun and a standard medium or short range air defense system

instead pakistan usually likes to buy stuff off the shelf

Pak lacks alot in most important aspect and army buying tanks which already we have in numbers

We need good layers of airdefence system from long range to smaller range more latest radars and layer of ballistic missile shield we should cut our budget of buying tanks and put them where it make difference

Yes because in recent defense exhibition it was displayed in Karachi cant. So it means it's deployed some where close to Karachi

The only LY-60's I know of are the ones installed on 3 Type 21 frigates.

In moutain side, the radar singals will be blocked by hills. Make HQ-9 and HQ-16 has no difference.
