Support for Gen Kiyani & Pasha

Actually Pasha and Kiyani should have been retired on their time, they have devoided two deserving officers off their legitimate rights to command Army and ISI. This Duo has not only devoured merit but have also defamed Pakistan. In army there is no place for mistakes e.g. young cadets in PMA are kicked out on their arse for violating any rules or for doing anything which the officers there, consider inappropriate, Then why should these Generals be treated any differently? Why should we just forgive them for their incompetence just because they have apologized?
This thread is a clear depiction of Pakistani mentality which has landed us in present state of turmoil; we follow our sympathetic or compassionate inclinations and sideline the experiences from past and reasonable solutions to problems. Correct me if i am wrong, but isn't this the sole reason that we are stuck with Zardari.......?

America is a war monger that has attacked numerous nations in an imperialistic frenzy, it needs to understand what Eisenhower warned about, the military industrial complex.

I requested moderators please ask indians not to interrupt this thread this is pure local thread .....................

Although you are right but what i feel and i am sure many Pakistanis are is that USA is deliberately trying to discredit and malign ISI and PA. I know it sounds far fetched but the tone that their leaders have adapted recently and their biased media coverage are the reasons that Pakistanis are thinking this way. Call us emotional but we are one suspicious nation. Yes we want accountability. We are still in favour of independent inquiry. However we Pakistanis are certainly under this impression that world criticism of our PA is getting out of hand and is unjustified. That coupled with PA address to the parliament made people realize that they are our institutions and yes they need our support. That doesn't mean we are forgiving them. We are giving them another chance to improve themselves. Will they improve or not, time will tell.

Apologies won't do anything, Pakistanis need ACTION now, FULLSTOP to Drones & Taliban terrorist bombings.

This is enough, ask those ppl who have lost their loved ones due to taliban terrorist bombings or Drone attacks, the ppl who havn't lost anyone will never understand the pain, they will just read it like everyday news.

I don't even care for an apology as much as I care for corrective actions. I know for a fact that there is a huge segment of Pakistani politics that is gunning for their blood so that they can be replaced with bigger US cronies. So far however I haven't seen obvious differences between them and a Zardari. If Nato attacks Pakistan, Pakistan should attack Nato. It doesn't matter who is stronger, there is no justification in sitting and taking it. It is better to fight and try rather than perish ourselves as a non-entity or at best, a punching bag.

Kayani and Pasha would have my support when they stop selling cowardice packaged as pragmatism.

.
Why not you condemn the Islamic militant attacking us, bombing their Muslim brothers. They also have wishes to attack USA or Nato without keeping in mind the consequences just like 9/11. Today world has excuses to fight in Iraq, In Afghanistan due to those stupid 9/11 actions.:hitwall:

You said it right. Many Pakistanis settled in the USA are anti-PA. This is clear hypocrisy on part of these un-patriotic Pak-Americans. They are unfaithful to their birthplace and at the same time unfaithful to their adopted homeland.

During my visits I have seen with my own eyes, that such Pak-Americans want to enjoy all the opportunities that America gives them, but at the same time the same Pakistanis hate when Pak government cooperates with the Americans.

Pak americans with their feet and their hands wedded to America and yet they profess to violent Jihadi ideology. What a shame.

peace.

I disagree Asim - Look - Anger is right but then again what if the enemy wants us to loose our temperament? We have got to be careful because the enemy is trigger happy and is much more powerful then us.We've got to be careful to not let the water boil too much.A direction confrontation with US is not possible thus we've got to play behind the scenes. We would have done the same during Soviet Era if US was not backing us.

While sitting overseas, it is mighty easy for you to push Pakistan into war with 10000 times stronger NATO/US. Why don't you push your adopted homeland to the same?

NATO took out Pakistan's enemy Ben fing ladeen.

And you are so ungrateful.

.
You prefer people like this, then?

Noops. Pakistanis living in the US (or other countries) must obey the local laws. That's the only way for them to be good citizens of the adopted country AND good ambassadors of Pakistan.

peace.
