I think US superpower title is not going anywhere until 2050 .. but surely next super Power will be China , Russian can surprise the world they have that capability and Putin is such a bad@ss leader , but their economy is one big hurdle for them , India or any other country is not even in the race .

Russia has the millitary, China has the economy. Why the current russo-sino relationship is a problem for the west. Of course, putin knows china's economic strength thrratens russia's status as a superpower, because currently economic power is more important than millitary power. However, russia has been forced to move closer to china due to US sanctions, and the anti-russia politicians in the us from both parties do not understand that they are pushing russia towards China, negatively impacting US interests in the process.
