But I would also like to add that this is unfortunate that 160 million people of Bangladesh failed to bring Sundarbans in top 7 despite having more population then countries like Vietnam, Philippines, South Korea and South Africe even without the vote of the Indians as they are good for nothing. My friends efforts has gone in vain. But still there is a slim chance. According to the site still this list may change based on final counting. Just keep hope alive. If not this time next time it will be selected...

May be next time we will be able to generate more vote as the number of internet users is increasing rapidly along with cell phone users. Obviously it will have a positive effect on the vote next time.

Actually we know about this from Shuvo roy himself. He told Bangladeshi journalists that he uses Bangladeshi passport, But everywhere people calling him indian, thats hurting him.

Apart from Bangladesh but not apart from Sundarbans. Sundarbans also falls in WB of India. It is one of the poorest and backward state of India. But nomination of Sundarbans in the top 7 would have boost its image along with tourism. But no voting promotion and initiative has been taken by the Indians. This is a pretty sad and irony. Other then saying shame on Indians I have no other words to describe it apart from using slang.


Grow up before asking attention of the mods. Have a chill pill.

Why would mamta banarjee support a private firm which is trying cash in on the nationalism of people. There was a high voltage campaign for Taj last time, but later we got to know it is all PR exercise.

Thankfully no media bliz this time in India.
