Taliban is a movement started in Afghanistan from the ground up by Mullah Omar. Pakistan simply had relations with them out of sympathies with the down-trodden and war-torn Pashtuns. Your nationalist narratives will not work here, so you should give up on spin doctoring history to fool people.

Oh come on Taliban are Afghan nationals not Pakistan nationals. If you throw 65% of Afghan nationals out of the Afghan democracy to get a puppet Gov this is what is going to happen. Afghanis know that India is killing them and trying to feed on their blood. India supports ISIS and TTP and JUA and the 2 recent bomb blasts in Afghan capital Kabul were done by Indian funded ISIS and TTP. Ghani Gov is nothing more than a dictator ship. India is the very cause of destroying peace in Afghanistan. Modi id killing Muslims in India and he is no friends of Muslim no matter from where they are. There is no greater rubbish than to say that pakistan and Afghanistan are like east and west Germany although I will state that I do agree with the @pakistani342 that pakistan is incomplete without Afghanistan and Afghanistan is not viable without pakistan but it the reality is that afghans themselves killed every concept of merger with their complexes and today the thought of a merger couldn't be further away and the entire Pakistan from fata to lahore is united in the concept that the durnd line must be fenced. We are building trenches, forts, fences, guard position, check posts, gates. The indo pak border will look like Bahria town entrance compared to the line after we are done with this. Agreed. The expat community really is not in tune to ground realities. Infact they don't even understand how zahir shah rules the region, the effects of sardar Khan, the revolution effects, the rise of war lords. They have zero understanding of this. They are oblivious to the social and ethnic structure of Afghanistan. Even the mess right of noor and ghani is another revelation of the ethnic issues in Afghanistan and let's not even touch corruption and incompetence....

We are growing economically with the world bank predicting our growth for 2018 to be 5.5 to 6.0. We cannot carry the mess of across the Durand and there is open agreement for this as we see the army working day and night and even through winters and detailing progress of the fence.

The funny thing is that their own parliament has repeatedly accused ghani of having agreed upon the fencing.

So this is happening and with formation of new corps and the upgrades given to FC, the border will get high security.
