Sudan’s army has claimed that it has shot down an Israeli drone following reports that Israeli warplanes have pounded sites around the Sudanese capital of Khartoum, the Lebanese al-Mayadeen TV reported.

The Israeli drone was shot down in the area of Wadi Seidna, to the north of Khartoum, on Wednesday, the Lebanese al-Mayadeen TV quoted the Sudanese army as saying.

The development came after reports said earlier in the day that Israeli fighter jets had bombarded a factory, claimed to be making long-range Scud missiles, a rocket storage site and a convoy that was leaving the site.

There are no immediate reports on the extent of the damage or the number of casualties caused by the air raids.

A spokesperson for the Sudanese army has reportedly denied that Sudanese military sites were targeted in the air assaults.

Sudan is trying to save face after Israeli attacks on factory in Sudan. Israel has no right to attack soveriegn country's factories(military or not). And no, these factories aren't producing Scud missiles. They're producing small arms and artillery. Because Sudan supports Palestinians with these small arms, Israel somehow believes it's entitled to attack soveriegn nation.

And of course Egypt allows Israel to violate its airspace once again. Won't be surprised if Sisi regime coordinated with Israel prior to allow these flights.

@Hell NO

What do you think? I dont mean any offense to Egyptians but I have suspicions Sisi knew about this beforehand.

Sisi....wanna be second Hosni Mubarrok.....

Hosni Mubarak was much better than him. He allowed us to trade/import/export with Egypt all kinds of goods. He just didnt open the border much.

It's not violating if you get permission...

Sudan: "No strikes have been carried out by any nation on the Supreme Nation of Sudan"
Reporter: "This picture taken 1 minute ago shows 18 different locations of fires burning."
Sudan: "Are you the government or me?"

Muslims nations.....

Why & how Irrael attacked ?? Is it part of any operation/conflict unknown to me

Well I don't blame Sudan, its in no position to do anything about it. For Egypt, I'm not yet sure if there was permission given or not. But I won't believe that Israel did so wihoit permission as that would worsen the good ties they have currently.
