Su-57 Program Cancelled

Bs for what??o_Oo_O , Simply Ukraine doesn't need it @925boy
BS- thats what you end up with when you study/learn/ "develop"technologies and dont use them. Lets end the BS- If Ukraine actually had all these good scientists and research, then why i stheir military generally average at best? It cangt even rival Russia's. so why not? Even US right now is spending millions helping Ukraine's military.

BS you forget Ukraine was building for Soviet Union, infact Ukraine was part a of Soviet Union SOCIALIST REPUBLIC OF UKRAINE, and those scientist flew away for finding a better job especially China @925boy

Russia makes all kinds of engine. Jet engines. Tank diesels. Helicopter turbines. Marine turbines. Marine nuclear engines. Ukraine cannot make any engine.
tank engine is bought from Ukraine for our Al-khalid Tanks so you're wrong about Ukraine can't make any engines at all, the main problems is for Ukraine is $$$$$ to initiate large R & D projects in Ukraine @undertakerwwefan :p:;):enjoy:

Because Ukraine has no R&D facilities. They can't even fly Su-27 due to lack of spare parts and Russia embargo.
"oh i'm smart....."...but you dont actually use your intelligence do real things in the real world...smh

F-22 maybe good at defending an airbase, but F-22 has combat radius 700 km and missile range 100 km. These days stand off missiles like Kh-59MK2 and Khinzhal have more than 500 km of range to more than 2000 km of range. How would you defend against that? They can shoot from well beyond F-22's missile range and even well beyond F-22's combat radius. The same way Patriot cannot defend air bases from modern stand off missiles.
Combat radius of an aircraft is not fixed but vary in accordance with the ordinance. Keep in mind that combat radius of F-22 Raptor can approach 1400 KM mark with a certain type of payload.

Secondly, air-to-air engagement envelope also vary in accordance with the ordinance. For example, AIM-120D air-to-air engagement missile have a range of over 180 KM.

F-22 have extraordinary EW capabilities and low-observable characteristics; due to these factors, an opposing aircraft is unlikely to identify F-22 from a safe distance and would be forced to get really close to F-22 in order to have a chance in shooting it down. However, F-22 will kill the opposing aircraft before it gets too close (see first; shoot first).

Stand-off missiles are for strikes on the ground. USAF also have long-range stand-off missiles in its arsenal (much larger inventory than that of the others as well).

Russia does not need to market Su-57 right now. Russia is buying hundreds of Su-35 / 30 and MiG-35 for the time being.

Su-57 serial production on track for delivery early next year

Business Insider has clearly demonstrated that it has zero credibility on military matters. But the western defense underworld uses its headlines because they are hyper anti Russian and condescending.

"Lets see if you can tell whats wrong with the su 57" it says. Yeah because your average Business Insider reader should have a better understanding of aircraft design than the Sukhoi design bureau. Its evidence will determine the credibility of its claims. You know.. "not stealth" and stuff like that.

They apparently asked a "senior scientist" to evaluate the planes stealth.

 Wow. Just wow. The "stealth scientist" has no idea what he is talking about ! The verticals on the su 57 are all-moving. That's why there is a seam there. Not only are they all-moving, unlike the F-22 or F-35, they are made of composite material and they are half the size, which is superior for stealth. And they double as the air brake which is less wheight and moving parts. So this is the last place where anyone should be mocking the su 57.

Yet Business Insider is being passed off as a legit commentator on the su 57 !
