It is always the damn dictators that give them a good reason to invade. Bashar should do the right thing and step down to save the Syrian people from himself and an invasion ASAP.

So now every leaders have to be afraid that the West will attack them. what right do the West have to attack people?

At the end of the day Sunni Kingdom is happy to see America take down Shia ruled countries. Bunch of hypocrites.

Iraq was Sunni, it became Shia following intervention (not that i care whether it's Sunni or Shia).

He's being fairly logical. He's happy with Syria as it is. He wants no intervention.

The illogical people are the ones who claim they would like to see democracy in Syria because they're concerned for the people of Syria, but they are happy to not have democracy in other Arab countries when their own dictator suits them.

He's doing what you're doing. Supporting his own dictator but being accused by other who support their own dictators of being undemocratic. Hypocrisy.

Russia and China have shown they will not allow the UN to authorize any actions against Syria.

Considering Russia's ties with Syria, I expect they will try their hardest to also prevent an unauthorized invasion of Syria. I'm pretty hopeful that Syria will be able to transition to democracy as planned by Assad without getting invaded.
