Stop Tendulkar praise, say Pakistani Taliban

.
:what: you guys are true Indians ;)
behvaing like hindutvas
True Indians, Hell Yeah. Hindutva...well I think you don't know the meaning of Hindutva. I don't see the reason of mentioning here.

Well I don't see rationale behind many of your points.

. . .
Meehhhh..

When it suits you, TTP is your's. When it doesn't it's our's.

It's your people who declared their deceased TTP leader as martyr. not us. It's your govt went all grumpy about killing of the terrorist leader & wanted to rejig their ties with allies. not our's. It's your people protesting TTP leaders death... not our's. So... TTP is your's, not our's.

once again... mehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh........

The guy who came up with that martyr rubbish got torn a new one by everyone. Granted he didn't stop his useless jobber jabber at just that. Either way this statement from the TTP is kind of hilarious. They basically just wanted to be cool cricket watching customers of Pakistan and they messed it up big time. I say all full of fails with the right amount of laughs.

.
A stupid statement from TTP. But strangely even those idiotic and laughable statement from these terrorists is given by such huge coverage by our liberal and foreign funded media, it makes them look important.

Just ignore it.

.
LMAO...The best part is "We should praise misbah even though we all know he is a substandard low level player":rofl:..Common guys this is some weird practical joke of a pashtun guy...Shahidullah shahid...lol..:rofl:

.
actually this statement has few pointers

1. Deliberatly giving attention to India ;)

2. Seems TTP is out of work and now spends time on watching entertainment ;)

3. TTP needs some media coverage from across ;)

4. This is ISI conspiracy to malign great Indian crickter :P
The TTP is looking for legitimacy to take on power through the legal means. You.d see more such overtures.

Miranshah — The Pakistani Taliban have warned their country's media to stop praising Indian cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, who retired this month after a glittering 24-year career.

A spokesman for the militants said Pakistanis should get behind their embattled captain Misbah-ul-Haq, even though he was a "substandard and low-level player".

Newspapers and TV stations across South Asia have been plastered with tributes to master batsman Tendulkar, who bowed out on November 16 as the world's leading run-scorer in both Test and one-day cricket.

Pakistan and India share one of the fiercest rivalries in world sport and the near-universal outpouring of praise for Tendulkar, the only man to score 100 international centuries, was a rare moment of agreement.

But Shahidullah Shahid, the main spokesman for the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) said it was time for Pakistanis to shut up about the "Little Master".

"There is an Indian cricket player called Tendulkar. He has been exceedingly praised by Pakistani media and also praised by a lot of Pakistanis," Shahid said in a video message, flanked by two masked men with AK-47s.

"Now someone should tell Pakistani media and other Pakistanis that no matter how good Tendulkar is, they should not praise him, it is against Pakistani nationalism and against loyalty to the country."

Misbah regularly comes under fire for his conservative tactics as captain and sedate batting style, which has earned him the nickname "Tuk-tuk". :omghaha:

Shahid told media to rein in their criticism -- though he scarcely gave a ringing endorsement of Misbah's leadership.

"No matter that Misbah-ul-Haq is a substandard and low-level player, Pakistani media should praise him because he is a Pakistani," Shahid said in the video published online at the weekend.

Shahid on Thursday confirmed the authenticity of the video to AFP by telephone from an undisclosed location.

?????? This is not the case.

There are still thousands IK fans in India; are they not loyal to India?

No matter that Misbah-ul-Haq is a substandard and low-level player, Pakistani media should praise him because he is a Pakistani

I believe there is more than what meets the eye or its just dadagiri.

Possible; such organisations harness and build their image through media and use media as tool.
